That's going to be tough to find out. If I had a guess I'd say when Premier took over. I'll see what I can find out for you.

Why does SFOG always have to sacrifice rides to build new ones?

It was either 1996 or Pre-1996. My guess is Pre since most of the Other Six Flags Parks had Fright Fest's by that time.

= SFOT- 87' OR 92'
= SFStL- 93'
= SFAW- 93'
= SFGAdv- 91'
= SFMM- 93'
= SFGAm- 90'
= SFFT- 96'

I looked on 2 fan sites and a time lien site and no mention of Fright fest. If other SFI parks had fright fest pre 96 that would mean SFI owned the freight fest name not Premier. I recall seeing commercials for a Haunted attraction at the park in 94-97, when I lived in Augusta, but I can't remember the name.

I believe the very first Fright Fest for SFOG was during the same year that Splashwater Falls opened.

When Time Warner had SFGADV I knew they had Fright Fest so we go back awhile.

That sounds like the name before they bought the core SF parks from Time Warner.
