Most of that stuff had nothing to do with Six Flags and their stocks.

Besides, what's wrong with the US Dollar being at par or below the Canadian Dollar?
I can finally vacation and shop in the US without paying more than double what I should.

^ Another country's pain can be another country's advantage.
I would never have been able to go to Florida in February if the dollar wasn't like this.. and.. I would have never gotten into coasters.

I know, I doubt it, but I was just wondering what you guys think.
They tried that. They've caught a rash for closing it, too.

Gas prices are hitting amusement parks hard- just look at the discounts they're offering. They're having trouble getting people in the gates

Not to go off topic, but let's see what happen's towards the end of 2009 when Barack Obama is America's president, I think the economy and stock market will rebound, the war will be over, and gas prices will lower, plus by then the "Hybrid Car Revolution" will kick in, and most new cars will be hybrid getting around 40-60mpg, so the amusement industry, stock market, and America overall will rebound. George Bush has ruined this country's economy will all the spending on the war, you know you have a problem when the people that make the money are in debt....

six flags has no heart

I grew up on Cedar Point and Kings Island (lucky kid) and just went to Six Flags New England. It had no heart. no cohesive theming. scattered mess. The park looked cheap....the rides had chipped paint. Just a lot of pavement with a ride stuck here and there. I hope Cedar Point never turns into a mess like Six Flags.

You might want to check out how much money we waste every year on illegal immigrants- it makes the Iraq war (also a boondoggle at this point) look like a bargain.

Either way you vote this year, you're screwed.
