Summer is over. And although Memento is the best film of the year, it's not in the summer so I will disclude that. The best film this summer for me was Rat Race. Hilarious!

Scary Movie 2

I would have to say that I loved American Pie 2, of couse I loved the 1st one too! This movie just makes me laugh. My fave character was Stifler!

I'd have to say I liked JP3 the best. Though I've seen a lot of classics/old movies this summer that I liked (i.e. Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Silence of the Lambs, The Shining) a bit more than JP3, it was the best of the summer for me. 2nd would probably be Legally Blonde (not on the list), and 3rd might be American Pie 2.

my vote would have gone to Bubble Boy, but it wasn't on there so I voted for The Spirits Withing, I refuse to call it Final Fantasy, it has pretty much nothing to do with the series.

Rat race was probably the funniest. Plane of the apes was the best action out of the ones i saw.

shrek had the best, original storyline...i thought with eddie and mike it would be halarious, but it wasn't funny (until the end party), but a good movie...

Wow, I never realized what a bad summer we had movie wise. Rush hour two was pretty good, Rat Race was pretty good, and the Others was GREAT! Therefore I voted for the Others. The rest of the movies were very stupid, especially A.I.

I totally agree with your assessment that Memento was the best film of the year.

Pretty sad summer for movies. Forget about what the best summer movies were, here is my list of movies that at least didn't suck:

I love fast cars and the fine looking ladies in Fast and the Furious, so obviously it got my vote. I did like American Pie 2 and Final Fantasy too though...but for summer blockbuster most would choose American Pie 2 if you ask me, those old enough to see it that is.
