Best Comic Strip(All Time)

my favorite all time is a toss up, a three way tie really between Bloom County(Bill the Cat, Opus Penguin), Calvin and Hobbes, and the Far Side.

Though I guess I'd pick BC if I had to choose one. Garfield also is close behind.

Talking

I voted for Garfield. One of my favorites is when Garfield is talking about Odie and sounds like a salesperson.

Garfield: This is your standard model dog. It come complete with a vacant stare, disgusting drooling, oversized tounge, and a full set of fleas.
(Garfield takes out a dingle ball, and throws it off the table. Odie chasses it, and crashes on the floor)
Garfield: Brain not included.

BTW, what's Dilbery? I would guess you either mean Dilbert or Doonsbery, or maybe it's some comic I've never heard of.

Mother Goose and Grimm is by far my favorite, but where's Sherman's Lagoon and Beetle Baily??? Those are great also.

Family Circus...I love those ones when the kids are all over the neighborhood and there's a dotted line showing they didn't always take the shortest route

jus' so ya know guys, there is an "other" option

personally I hate The Family Circus, you read all these funny strips and there at the very end is The Family Circus to ruin it all...it's too cuitsy and not funny enough for me I guess.

OMG i cant believe anyone would vote for anything other than Calvin & Hobbes, it is the great comic strip ever created. The only one that is close is Peanuts.

haha, no hard feelings, I just hate those comics. Personally I like comics that make me laugh, TFC, Peanuts, FBoW don't make me so I don't like them.

At one time I did like The Family Circle though.

I like Garfield. Especially strips with him crazy on coffee or smashing a spider.

I love Garfield too, it's my favorite current one(with Fox Trot, VERY close behind).
My favorite all-time Garfield is one of the first sunday strips. Garfield is hanging on the screen door saying:
"I'm bored
bored
bored
bored
bored
bored
bored"
then Jon slams open the door and calls Garfield and Garfield gets flattened by the door:
"I'm in pain
pain
pain
pain
pain
pain
pain"

I have two favorite Garfield strips. One is the one where he finds Jon's car keys on his dresser, and the other is the one where Odie is clogging up the toilet.

dilbert is good, but sometimes they go off on an un-funny tangent...other than that, i always get a chuckle...i like the short ones in the daily paper better than the long ones on sundays...

well...I do agree with ya there

I like Dilbert, but Adams needs to take a hint from a poll that he made, and take an art class. He put that in a poll to save Ratbert's life and something like 80% e-mailed him and said take an art class.

The Far Side was GREAT! My favorite single drawing is the picture of two deer, one of whom has a bullseye on his chest. The other deer says. "Bummer of a birthmark, Fred."
