New DT theme

theres been alot of talk around here that CP should retheme or remove disaster transport. If CP hired you to redo it, what kind of theme would you give it?

Actually, I'd keep the '80s cheesy theming, just renovate it so that you can tell that's obviously the point. Plug up the holes in the building, clean it up, make sure it all worked, but keep it corny. No matter how you slice it, Disaster Transport is not a high-tech ride (at least, not compared to a lot of themed coasters out there), so I'd play on that -- it would be a very unique theme.

The upgrading I would do (other than fixing those effects that originally worked) would be to change the Repair Bay -- I'd make the overhead bins a bit more intricate, more flashing lights, crashing noises in the background, that kind of thing.

Melissa is right, no matter how much they spend, a low tech ride like DT could never impress anyone like something like Rock n Rollercoaster. I think the intentional cheesiness idea sounds cool! Think of Space Mountain at WDW. Its intentionally cheesy, but not overly tacky, and still cool.

I've posted this before. My idea would be to re-theme it as a haunted ride. The two rooms inside could be haunted rooms, and the coaster flying through the dark with a haunted theme would be fun. Would fit in perfectly with Halloweekends.

8. One loading and unloading area so you can go through the black things
9. A more confusing station
