As a 38 year old, I'd have to say "no". But, I'll probably down a beer and watch.

Medusa...when I was your age I still went T-or-T. Hell, my freshman year of college I did it too. I'm not going this year, nor am I going to hand out candy. I plan on going down to Kent and being one of tens of thousands in the downtown area just chillin. That's right. A horror for those stupid enough to try to drive through.

As person who loves coasters says below...have fun for a night. As I say, get off the computer, let the computer rest a bit. Go outside and have fun on Halloween. You are still young. Take advantage of it.

I might, except I don't know what to be if I do go...

I would want to dress up as "A knight who says 'Ni!' " from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but I don't think too many people would get it...

I'll be getting more candy for staying home(and stuff I like).

My mom always goes overboard with candy(6-7 bags) and we had 8 kids last year(old neighborhood). She gives out 7 "Fun Size" bars each, I'll give 1 or 2 and just take the rest

At 25, I doubt it. I would hand out candy, but we live in an apartment complex and for the last two years we haven't had a single trick-or-treater, and I've been disappointed about that. But we still have a big old cauldron of candy, and I make sure to buy what we like so no matter how many trick-or-treaters we do or don't get, it doesn't matter anyway. We don't eat it all though, we'll save it for next year -- it doesn't go bad, and with just two people, it's a lot more cost effective. This stuff's expensive!

I'm 25 years old, so I obviously can't go trick or treating. My halloween is on Saturday, a big party. being out of college and working for a living sucks because I have to work on the best holiday of the year Halloween (I like halloween better than even Christmas, and I don't even get candy like you all).

I'm not, for two reasons: I'm 16.. thats too old to go IMO. Plus kids my age who go trick or treating are frowned apon by the old people. When I was 14, the last time I went, some didn't give us candy.

Also, this year I'll be in Orlando at WDW or IOA on halloween.

At 47, no one would give me candy if I DID go. So I buy a couple extra bags of candy just for us. My son gave up Trick or Treating when he was 14...at 6' tall, he had a hard time getting candy anyway. He's going to a party instead, dressed as a music pirate...prate costume with CD's stuck all over

I probably am, I didn't last year and I regret it! But I have no costume yet, so I'll have to come up with something quick.

Halloween Rocks!!!

Being 29, I am a bit too old to go trick or treating, but not too old to dress up in my favorite Halloween digs and go partying!!

Last Halloween I was coming home from work and stopped by a grocery store to pick up a few things. At the check out there were two girls, probably in their early teens, in front of me, in some half-assed costumes.
Anyway, these girls tried to buy about 4 or 5 dozen eggs, and tried to make it look less obvious by including a bottle of soda and a magazine or something. The clerk told them that she cannot sell them the eggs...(there is some strange law about not selling eggs to minors on Halloween around here, especially if they seem obvious that they are going to use these eggs for something other than making an omlette). Go figure!
Anyway, the girls got really angry and asked the clerk....."Why can't you sell these eggs? It's not like we are going to throw them at cars or anything!"

I busted out laughing, and so did the clerk, and the girls left without their eggs, really showing their age by cussing out the clerk. It was just too funny. I was in pains from laughing so hard, at these girls stupidity.

Part of me wanted to take them aside and say "you idiots, you have to buy your eggs IN ADVANCE and let them sit outside for a good week in the sun like I used to do.....you NEVER, EVER buy eggs on Halloween Day."

But I didn't, being the responsible adult I am now. I got a really good laugh though. Maybe they could have a Halloween version of "America's Dumbest Criminals.......the egg bandits"

Happy Halloween everyone!

Very funny story, but you gave all the young ones here the idea now. Most don't know about leaving them outside for a long time. ....ummm not promoting vandalism or anything. never, nope never done it.

You don't need a costume. Just go up to the door of a home, and when the person handing candy out asks you what you are supposed to be....just say that you are the future of this country. It should work quite well, and it will scare them to know that the future of this country is in the hands of the teens and young adults today.

I will be going, well to watch my sisters kids go get candy from the neighbors. They live outside the city. So they come to my house to go T or T.

Boo.
