Most Unique coaster..........

What coaster is just soooo amazing a new, and has great ingenuity, that it just blows your mind! Mine would have to be the invention of the Floorless coaster, who thought that feet dangeling over the track would be possible..........

Well I dont think it would be any coaster with a new design such as X or X-Flight or Medusa or TA2K. There are so many new designs and they are all alike. I look at the coaster that provides adrenaline like no other. And that of course is Millennium Force. With that height and angle of decent, with the smoothness of a Intamin, its unable to be compared.

That's great sir, but the key word is UNIQUE. I can give the name of another 300 FT closed circuit track coaster, other names for coasters with overbanked turns, names for coasters that use elevator cable lifts, magnetic braking, Intamin track fabrication, tunnels, and stadium like seating cars. Millennium Force may be a great ride, but it's not unique in ANY sense. I would have to say X or the S&S pneumatic catapult coaster design. I'm waiting on the Intamin hydraulic catapult that will be present as Knott's Xcelerator. Those are unique.

One of the most unique coasters was EuroMir but now there are a lot of spining Wild mices with drops. X is definetly unique becasue obviously there is nothing like out there. S&S moving into the roller coaster business and building two beasts that provide the fastest luanches of any roller coaster. There are a lot of other roller coasters that are just truley amazing that I nor any else has mentioned so I hope some of you know what they are.

There's one hat comes to mind that isn't new, isn't huge and isn't popular. It's The Bob Sleds at Seabreeze Park in Rochester New York. I wooden super structure with steel tubing for tracks and bobsled cars. It is pretty uniqiue and I have sen nothing else like it.

Another unique coster is the William's Grove Cyclone. A wooden out and back, the "out" is built on top of the "back" - sort of like an elevated highway.

Flying coasters werent that big of a surprise for me. I think it would have to be the 4d. I had never imagined anything like it.

The 4D is the most radical design of a coaster ever and it is simply amazing. Never before would I imagine a coaster flipping around completely independent of the track. It can do inversions in a straight line, and that amazes me! X rocks!

The most unique coaster I've ridden is not X, not Hypersonic, not Medusa, and not any of the above mentioned rides. For me, it's the Spiral Coaster. It originally was in a indoor park in South Korea. In 1999, it was relocated to Al-Sha'ab Leisure Park in Kuwait. I haven't been to Kuwait yet, but I did ride it in South Korea. The experience was so unique, I've never experienced anything even remotley like it, not on any other coaster.

For me it is the invention of The Vekoma Flying coaster, it has started a revolution in the coaster world! It has brought many new coasters to surface, and it is and incredible and fun experience!

I would say Superman: TE or Flight of Fear. Both of these coasters lead the revolution in launched rides.

I'd say X. If anyone had said 18 months ago that that was what would be built we'd have laughed at them and said that it wouldn't be possible.

This doesn't get much attention but I think the Atlantis ride at Sea World is pretty unique. The water coaster concept (which I know has been repeated at least once or twice) is pretty unique. It is the one thing X doesn't do anyway.

I think by Oblivion you should change it to nemesis - its 100 times better. Now they got air oblivion looks a tiny tiny bit rubbish.

The most unique interesting layout i've ever ridden is space monutain

the most unique ride ever, The Mauck Chuck Railroad. it was the first of anything to have something to pull the cars up, and it was the birth of coasters.
X
Arrowbatic (though it hasnt been built)
Big Thunder Mountain (the first steel coaster)
the loopers of the early 1900's.

Topgun77, you're partially correct, and the guy above you is totally incorrect. Disneyland's Matterhorn Bobsleds was the world's first tubular rail steel roller coaster, the first to utilize bended tubular railing, which allowed for more twisted and contoured track configurations which eventually lead to the possiblity of modern day inversions and steeply banked turns and drops. I remember there were other steel roller coasters before Matterhorn Bobsleds, but they did not utilize the revolutionary tubular rails we now see on almost all steel coasters today. They might have used I-beam like rails? How did he get Big Thunder Mountain Railroad? HAHA...

Just want to point something out: 'most unique' is grammattically incorrect. Since everything is unique, one thing can not be more unique than the rest. Sorry but my grammar mind just kicked in.
