Best/Coolest/Most Interesting Coaster ENTRANCES?

I think this would make a great topic. Here are some photographs of coaster queue entries that I think are spectacular and out of the ordinary - more detail put into it than the average Joe coaster.

- Windjammer Surf Racers

- Dueling Dragons

- The Villain

- Volcano The Blast Coaster

- Roadrunner Express SFKK

- Goliath SFMM

- Chang

- GhostRider

- Raging Bull

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Then there's the ugly, bland, and completely dull queue entryway :

Gotta love the whole set up at IOA, Banner's lab for Hulk, and the castle for the Duelling Dragons.

Agreed Daishi. Also, Psycho Mouse is pretty cool! Don't put that as bland or boring, but that's just me. V2's is also pretty cool as well.

I liked the old Texas Cyclone entrance ( http://joyrides.com/sfaw/full/texas_cyclone1.htm ). Unfortunately, that has been replaced by a boring entrance ( http://www.sixflagshouston.com/photo.php?photo=http://www.sixflagshouston.com/sfaw081703/DSCN0568.JPG&caption=Texas%20Cyclone ).

The coolest one ive seen in a picture has got to be Dueling Dragons. As for myself in real life, hmmm, maybe Goliath? Not too sure. Alpengiests Entrance is pretty cool with all the themeing around. Both are pretty close.

2 Words....... Space Mountain. Also Thunder Mountain is cool. Although the line inside the dome on space mountain is better. I also liked disaster transport's que-line. The best overall coaster with the outside and inside, is montu and the IOA coasters.

Yuck, the old version is disgusting and downright creepy. The newer one opts for a more classic look - which I like and think best fits the ride.

My favorite is Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith's entrance at Disney MGM Studios. Classy looking, creative, not overdone, yet awesome.

Deuling Dragons would be a high first on my list, then Hulk, the Space Mountain. I also like Mantis, how the queue is really integrated with the coaster track above, though the B&M roar makes conversation difficult.

Uh.. thats just a cutout sign. Nothing cool about it at all. Also, the Raging Bull entrance is lame too, its just a small sign above the entrance to the queue. Nothing is special at all about the actual entrance.

I wouldn't say that is a nice entrance. I think it's 'cause you're obsessed with that ride - so you have a natural dendency to pick it.

Yeah you are kinda going crazy over S:KC. I haven't ridden it, but I just haven't heard good stuff about it. Anyways, that entrance is really bland. It's just a sign. GOLIATH, is one hell of a entrance.

What? The old entrance looks awesome. The new entrance looks temporary.

I like Kraken's entrance.

I more or less like the signs for a ride with the ride visible in the background. A good example is X-Flight . Also, V2 at Great America has a good, simple sign.

Yeah, it just looks like a stand-able cardboard cutout like those you see in stores. Is that what it is?

Yep, but the whole area kinda goes with the theme, plus the entire queue building is themed, so it makes up for the tacky sign entrance.

I know this sounds stupid, but I never noticed the architecture for the Scorcher. But now that theres a picture of it, it does look pretty nice.

My vote goes for Alpengeist.
