Is this a repeat thread? oh well. I don't really have a top five because it usually changes to whatever mood I'm in.

Number 1 still is definatly Get up Kids.
Number 2-5 is bands like New Found Glory, Finch, The New Amsterdams, Saves the Day, and other mostly emo bands. Note: I'm not an emo kid, I just happen to like the music. My music and the way I act don't intertwine.

It's soooo nice to see that so many people like the bands i do! I enjoy Pearl Jam and DMB too except i don't have any of their CDs. Makes it hard to love.

I'm listening to Time on Dark Side of The Moon right now. Speaking of that, i'm suprised that so many people like Pink Floyd so much. I thought i was like the only one around here...

Money, It's a gas. Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash...

2. Finch
2. Linkin Park
4. Audioslave
5. Alien Ant Farm

Somedays I like Finch more, and somedays i like LP more, so they're tied. This list might change if i decide to get one of Static-X's Cds (probably their new one) this weekend.

It amazes me the older I get, the less things change

Case in point, bands... While many of the new bands are listed, a lot of the classics are as well. I was out somewhere and saw a teenager with a Led Zepplin t on and was like, that's the same t shirts they had in 1985!!!! Things are funny how they stay the same...

Ok, you'll all call me old, but hey, at least I'm still around...lol (i'm 31)

1- U2 *saw them in 2001!*
2- Beatles
3- Journey *saw them in July!*
4- Boston *saw them in June!*
5- Switchfoot

Best part about rock music is of course seeing the band live, so I also listed the last time I saw the respective bands (if ever).

I used to hate it when people asked this question, but then I wrote down all of my favorite bands and keep the peice of paper in my wallet, so here they are in no particular order:

metallica, dream theater, van halen, ozzy, black sabbath, alice cooper, alice in chains, kiss, aerosmith, pink floyd, led zepplin, def leopard, weird al yankovic, nirvana, AC/DC, queen, rob zombie, white zombie, iron maiden, bob rivers, apocalyptica, drowning pool, korn, goldfinger, green day, henry phillips, steven lynch, manowar, misfits, pantera, great white, powerman 5000, rammstein, ray hill, red hot chili peppers, system of a down, tim cavanaugh, the offspring, rage against the machine, megadeth

I know, it's a lot of them, but those are all my favorites.

Since I'm not the biggest music afficionado, I only have one band at the moment that I like, that being Zyklon. Thank you RCT loser for showing me them, because they are AWESOME!

EDIT that: Just listened to Cannible Coprse, they are pretty awesome too. Now I think I'm just going to try to listen to all of the bands RCT Loser mentioned.

Actually, I knew about half of them

We have a pretty diverse group of tastes among those that have responded. It's pretty cool.
