Super Bowl XXXVIII

What two NFL teams do you think will be in the super bowl next year?

Itll be any combination of Greenbay, Indy, Denver, TB
so either GB vs IN; GB vs. DV; TB vs IN; TB vs DV.
The chiefs are overated, they haven't played anyone really difficult, and as soon as teams get smart and stop kicking to Dante they will go down quick.
The Vikes are one dimensional and haven't had any real tests
The Panthers are very one dimensional and their D does look quite nice but i think their inexperience will catch up to them

Much better. Unfortunately I never got into football so I can't contribute anything further than Roman Numerals.

Off topic, how could WMXX be better than X7?

The Steelers and....

Pitt's jinx has to end sometime.

And how WM XX could be better than X-7? That's kinda tough...maybe a Bret Hart vs Angle.

I say Colts and Eagles. Colts look unstoppable after Monday's game, and Tampa Bay looks beatable. Philadelphia is out of its rut, and hopefully McNabb can prove Limbaugh wrong and take them to the Superbowl. Chiefs, Vikings, Panthers, Dolphins, and Broncos are other possibilities.

I'm going with Vikings vs. someone else. I don't know who to pick in the AFC.

Aren't the Ravens in first place in their division?

Yeah, it won't last. The Ravens have kind of fallen apart in the last few years.

When has a team gotten consecutive Super Bowl wins? Didn't the Broncos do it around 97?

I remember consecutive Super Bowl losses...the Buffalo Bills come to mind. I think the Cowboys won in back to back years in the early 90s.

San Fran in '89 and '90
Pittsburgh in '79 and 80 and once again in '75 and '76
Miami in '73 and '74

jimmy, you think the Packers will win the North? How can you say that. The Vikings have been dominating, and the Pack hasn't shown very much this year.

Ya'll are forgetting the mighty Cardinals. Hey, maybe if they changed their name to "Mighty Cardinals" instead of just "Cardinals" they would win.

Oh wait, nevermind, it takes good players, good management, and a good owner to win games. Hey, why not throw in a new stadium too.

Because the Pack always win the North .

Actually I think Minnesota will self-destruct in the upcoming games. Denver is a very tough team, and I think the Giants may give them trouble as well. Then they play Green Bay.

Meanwhile, I think Ahman Green will break out in the next few games, and dominate. Green Bay had a very solid performance against Kansas City, and almost and should have won. They're only 3-3, and have very easy schedule thanks to the weakness of the NFC North (although the Vikings definately are much improved, Detroit and Chicago are among the worst in the league yet again).

To sum it up, the Vikings can very easily lose their next 2 games and also to Green Bay. At the same time, if the Packers beat St. Louis and win in Minnesota, Green Bay is 5-3, Minnesota 6-3, just a half game ahead. From there the Pack could easily overtake the Vikes.

I would like to say the Eagles, but I don't know. Well, we'll see after this weekend in NY. Anyway I'll go with INDY vs. SEATTLE. That's right. . . Seattle.

Packers lost and the Vikings won. I think jimmy needs to change his prediction.

So do I . But who knows. Anything can happen.

As for who I think will win the Super Bowl, my pick is Titans over Bucs, 24-10. Disagree, Agree, or whatever. I want to see how accurate I am after the season ends.

The Bucs? Wow, another odd pick. They seemed to have fallen apart this season.

Everyone on the Bucs defense seems to be hurt. My pick: Vikings and Chiefs.

It's real easy to pick the undefeated teams isn't it?

Its all about the playoffs. Who'd have thought the Patriots could have done it a couple years ago? Almost no one.

Although the Bucs have some serious problems, I doubt they will miss the playoffs, and they are a very dangerous team to have to face, especially if some of their players recover.
