Exclamation Anyone old enough to get a hotel who would like to go to Kennywood on Friday Oct. 24?

I desperately want to go to Kennywood for Phantom Fright nights and this Friday, Oct, 24, is my only chance. If anyone within a 50 mile radius of metro Detroit (I will pick you up), or who lives close to Kennywood who could book a hotel room, unfortunately for me I'm 2 months too young to be able to, I ask that you consider the trip. I will pay for all gas and all toll fees, all I ask is that you pay for your ticket(17.50), and your share for the hotel.

I'm a serial killer who likes younger men, I'll go with you. What time?

Dude, in all seriousness, it's not safe at all to ask a stranger to buy you a hotel room, or drive them around.

Can't you get a family member to do it, and just meet someone in the park, where there's more people and it's safer ?

This is how child molestation occurs, so don't be surprised if Kraken suddenly has a free hotel room for you and a ride better than any at Kennywood .

But seriously, you can't find a friend, relative, friend's friend, relative's friend, nothing? I would first explore all possibilities before asking strangers. Don't let yourself get too desperate.

well it isnt the fact that i CAN'T go to Kennywood, but I would much prefer staying over a night rather than me and my friend driving 300 miles there and back in one day, and on the way back it would be a drive all through the night. I was hoping someone could help here, if anyone is familiar with ACE's eCRIBB program, http://www.aceonline.org/eventbuddies/ , you would see that my plea for help isn't that unorthodox. Perhaps, if I had success through this, this could help establish a cooperative park visting program on these boards. It would allow more of us to go more places, and save $$$ in the process. However, I'm not aware of all the legal problems that may accompany such a thing.
And this Friday is NOT the 25th, it is the 24th.

And it would allow people who want to hurt you while you sleep a great chance to do so.

In all seriousness, folks, unless you guys are all 15-16 year old molesters (and I somehow doubt that), not everyone on this site is that way (well except for coasterz44, who just admitted he was). There are risks, yes, but just be aware of what you're doing.

I'd go, but I don't have the money to cover everything (thank bills for that) :-P.

Jeez guys, there aren't that many problems with asking people here on the boards. Maybe if he was talking to a total stranger it would cause problems, but I don't see a problem with people from here.

I was just pointing out that:
A) I was half-joking, I know that I could trust a number of people on this site, and if I was a child molester, there would be much better places to find oppurtunities. Easy, I was just kidding
B) However, you really do have to be careful with this stuff. You just never know. I thought nothing could ever happen to me or anyone near me, then the next thing I knew, one of my friend's leaders from a youth group he had become good friend's with was arrested as molester. You just can't be too careful.
