Injuries

What injuries have you suffered in the past year?

This year I hurt my shin and last year I hurt my tailbone.

I got bored...that's the reason behind this topic...

I think this is a poll. I'm bored that's why I said that.

I twisted my ankle pretty bad at a cross-country meet, as mentioned in the I hate my shoulders' thread, and I broke Bimmer's arm. Ok, so I didn't really. But I wish I had. So anyways, I stepped on a rock in bare feet to and had to get it removed from my foot. That's all.

I sprained my ankle getting out of bed, missed two days of work, and I still don't have full flexibility in it like I used to.

Ahhh well last year this happon and i still laugh to today. I was on my moms computer chair(ok its like 8 years old now) and i went to lean back and it broke and hit my head on this shart edge of a table.. The bruse almost looked close to a tennis ball and as well hit my knee in the progress so ya...i had a nice headache for a bout a few days.

Then there has been a few times when guests will slam there lapbars down on my hand when i am trying to check there seatbelts that always fun.

Yeah, I'll go ahead and bump this on over to Polls.

As for me, I've had none. I have a singularly boring medical history, ugh. I got glasses, if that counts for anything, but it's not an injury.

I broke my left collarbone five and a half weeks ago, most painful thing that's ever happened to me. I still have seven weeks until it's fully healed.

I forgot another injury. I was running around the house, slipped on the floor and as I made a 180, I smacked into the corner of the wall, splitting my head open and requiring 3 stitches. That got me out of 4 weeks of swimming classes (I hate being around swimming pools). This happened in 1987.

About 3 years ago, I was cutting open a box at work with my trusty box cutter. Dummy me was holding the box wrong and when the blade slipped, I sliced my left index finger requiring 6 stitches. They did a fairly good job and you can barely see the scar.

I have also had a car door slammed shut on my thumb, though surprisingly enough, no bruise, no swelling, no broken bone and the door didn't get hurt either.

Don't even get me started...
Torn ligaments in my right knee, tendons in the left. Broken arm, wrist, and growthplate between the two, three concussions, broken nose, two cracked ribs and broken fingers and toes... now I remember why I quit playing hockey...

I have yet to have a major injury. Although I did something to my ankle while biking that messed me up somehow.

As of right now, I have a cough/cold that will last a near 3 weeks! Yikes! Therefore I can't run on my Cross Country team for a long time.

Now=October 23rd 2003.

I get those every winter. Just go to a doctor, you probably have "Walking Pnuemonia(sp)." I just went to the doctor yesterday and I was diagnosed with this. I should have done that the other years too.

That's probably what I keep getting every year. It starts out typical, then the cough starts. That damn thing lasts 2 weeks or so and sometimes I feel like I'm going to hack up a lung.

Go. Last year I had it from Oct. to March. It really sucked.

The bad part is I'm taking 6 pills a day.
