Question Short-lived TV Shows You miss...

Ok, just curious...

What short-lived (3 seasons or less) TV shows do you miss, and wish would have lasted longer???

The first one I thought of ...

The Flash - only lasted 2 seasons (kinda cheesy, but I liked it)

The original series Star Trek -- ultimately cheesy, but only three seasons. I'm not sure about Thundercats (how many seasons and all), but that was a fun one too.

I gotta few. First off Family Guy, but luckily they are making a movie with all of the orginal cast. Also Futurama, that's funny stuff. But here's the real zinger, Clerks the Animated Series. ABC only aired seven episodes (I think). You can buy the DVD set for it now, it has two bonus episodes that were partially done when ABC cancelled it so they decided to go all out before they lost their money.

Family Guy, Sports Night, Futurama, and Stressed Eric were all good shows.

Family Guy is by far the best. The show was plain genius and every episode was funny with some very hilarious moments. Futurama is slightly below that.

Bimmer reminded me of Sports Night. I watch it on Comedy Central and watched it a little when it was on ABC. Too bad it failed.

Stressed Eric was this dumb primetime cartoon on NBC that lasted two or three episodes. I watched them and enjoyed it. I guess it was a little dumb for primetime viewers though. It was also pretty stupid. Exploding horses. Whatever!

Undergrads and 3 south on MTV. Both classic shows that got taken out for complete crap. Sifel and Olly was pretty funny too.

I thought it was the knights who say neet...oh well. Family Guy is definitely a good one though I haven't seen much of it. I can't think of any others at the moment...

Family Guy even though it had several seasons. It was easily the best cartoon comedy of all time. I snatched every episode on Kazaa before it went under, now I'm glad they are running it on Adult Swim but I wish new episodes were being made.

"Sports Night" was a really good show (maybe it ended so early because one of the actors had a stroke?)

But the show I miss most is without a doubt, "Freaks and Geeks". That was a GREAT show, but it only lasted one season. I was so pissed when it got cancelled. It sucks when great shows like Freaks and Geeks get cancelled & crappy shows like Friends last forever.

OMG, Alien Nation!! I loved that show!! Especially, when it was the male who who gave birth to the babies! Perfect!!
That was a strange episode. The whole birthing process was interesting, needing a man, a woman, and a binom.

What was that one about?

also, I can't remember how long it lasted, but I used to love Amazing Stories. Kind of like Twilight Zone, but sometimes even weirder. (it was in the 80's some time)

It was on USA in like 1999. G vs. E was short for Good vs Evil. It was about 2 cop-like people that worked for the good side, that tried to prevent people from selling their souls to the devil. People that were in this department were there because they weren't quite good enough for heaven and had to prove themselves. The plots were very well thought out, and they managed to stick a good amount of dry humor there.

Some of my short-lived favorites include: It's Your Move ('84-'85), The Munsters, Addam's Family, Gilligan's Island, Lost in Space, Night Stand ('95), and Sledge Hammer. Also "Remote Control" from MTV, but I'm not sure if that lasted more than 3 seasons. The Morton Downey, Jr. show was also a classic.

I loved Sledge Hammer and G vs. E. Sledge Hammer was just the coolest show. So funny. Firefly wasn't that bad. Then there's my guilty pleasures - The Richard Bey show and Cleopatra 2525. Both just lame but funny.
