what do you plan on doing in the off season?

Aside from a family trip to orlando over christmas break (which will end up being a huge coaster trip for me and a friend) i will be deprived all winter. Basicly I plan on playing lots of RCT. Yea, im a loser.

I plan on doing everything I normally do, except surfing, since the water's too cold. I might try to go to MM some time since the fires made it impossible over the weekend.

I'm going to work on my 7,000 pound SUV. I want it to be able to run over third-world orphans better and run entirely on baby seal oil.

Let's see, never mind the fact that I don't consider anything an "off season" because there's always something going on... I'll be going to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure in early December (combining the trip for holiday shopping), I'll continue actually working and having a life outside of theme parks, there are the holidays which take much coordination (I bake 30+ recipes from scratch in less than 10 days), and we'll probably take a seven day cruise at some point. Not too shabby.

Luckily we get winter up here so I ski frequently. I think I've begun to lose any feelings of anticipation when I go on a new coaster because I do jumps at ski hills in which I really could get hurt. 15 feet up seems so much higher on skis than on a coaster, and the airtime is unmatched, too.

In my offseason I will :

1. Go to school

2. Do homework

3. Visit no coaster parks (although I am going to some tropical island called Paradise Island or something, no coasters though.)

4. Start a countdown in my head until opening day at Six Flags Great Adventure, where I will be standing first in line to get in and race straight to the Q-Bot : Gold booth.

As am I and, like, everyone else at TN. Seriously, in 2003 this place was all Cedar Point employees! But that doesn't answer the question of what I plan on doing in the off season.

I may visit one or two amusement parks but I think I'm going to try and focus on school. I guess. I don't know what else I'll be doing. Basically it's all school!
