Who do you bank with?

I work for a large bank, and I was just curious of those that are old enough to: Who do you bank with?

I can understand that. There's no such thing as job security in corporate America, that is unless you're a CEO.

I have done banking with Fith third as well as Huntington, Bank One and Charter. I enjoy Huntington, but my favorite tellers keep getting moved, so I go to my local one once a month, just so I can see the others.

Provident Bank of MD. They're so naive, they believe anything I say. I always get them to wave any charge they might impose.

But shouldn't the topic be "With whom do you bank?"

We're with a credit union; the interest rates are better on their savings accounts and CDs (which we just got our first one a couple of months ago). We don't use an ATM card (don't even have one), and our checking is free anyway, so it's not a big deal.

I keep my money in Santa Barbara Bank and Trust. Obviously a local branch in the Santa Barbara area.

Carolina First (a local bank), and when we lived in Texas, Heritage National (another local bank). Free checking, good interest rates on Savings accounts, and extremely friendly people who know us by name.

Used to bank at The Bank of the Northern Hemisphere ... I mean, Bank of America, when I was in college, but they did me all wrong, so I dropped them long time ago.

I go through Lake Michigan Credit Union... which is funny cuz the nearest branch is now 100 miles away (it was a lot closer when I was in college). But, it's treated me well, and has a lot of what the bigger banks offer and more.
