Well if they go much higher, then they will have to put major trim brakes on, or give you body armor, gsuit for the g forces lol Same thing for inversions. I think we've done 10 up to this point on one coaster, and that is just insane to me. My limit is about 6, I've never ridden one with 7+ and really don't know if I want to. I'm such a fan of hyper/gigas that I'd rather see more of those. Spinball Wizzer (sp?) looks cool and also there was a side-ways sitting prototype of a coaster someone found, that would be weird. Other than that, we'll just wait till the next press conference

I don't think more inversions will happen. I think we're starting to get away from that. I'd say the biggest innovations in order will be new seating arrangements and height and speed.

I think we'll be seeing more new seating positions and inversions and more speed but not as much height.

New seating, and more height and speed. No one seems to care about inversions anymore.

Higher, new seating, inversions(not amount), and more speed. I think that new inversions can be made, including that inverted loop/pretzel loop on a sitdown looper that has been discussed in a thread somewhere...

I don't see a problem with going higher other than they can look ugly. Remember that purposed rollercoaster for the Stratoshpere tower? That was going to be 720ft tall (or something like that). Obviously no problems with g's there. It all has to do with the layout, nothing to do with height. As for breaks, I doubt they will need them, because why build a ride that heigh? I think they could design the cars to reach a certine terminal velocity, kind of like an invisible brake. As for inversions, I think we could see more, but I think the limit would be drawn somewhere, my guess is in the 15 to 20 range.

I don't think the GP would ever get on a 15 inversion machine. I would, maybe, but not the GP... I highly doubt it

I think all of the above. People will always want the coolest design, the biggest, the fastest, and I think at least one park is going to up Colossus for inversions in the next couple of years. I can see a 600-700 foot coaster within the next 5-10 years.

i think itll will be a mix of height/speed and different seating positions, # of inversions just doesn't attract people as well
