Anyone own an mp3 player?

I became sick of CD players and having burned CD-R's laying all around my house, so I decided to buy an mp3 player, I dropped $100 on an RCA Lyra. $100 is very low priced compared to others with much more memory, but I'm happy with mine, especially since the memory has limit to which it can be expanded.

Yes. I have an MP3 player. I has 40 gigs of memory. I like it. Plus you can do other useful stuff with it, such as type reports, go on AIM, go on TN, play NL, etc.

BTW, I rode the world's tallest and fastest roller coaster. That's enough accomplishment for me.

I own a CD MP3 player, which is good enough for me. But right now, I'm looking for a spiffier one, not sure why, I kind of want a nice one.

I have an MP3 player, but it sucks. I used to think it was really cool. It could hold 64 megs of music. It's a Compaq player and used Roxio or something as the software. I liked it and had it for a few years. About a month ago I decided to install the software in my computer so I could walk around and listen to music. It sounded like a good idea since it doesn't skip, it's small, and doesn't eat batteries.

So I installed the software and plugged in the MP3 player. Blaaamp! It doesn't want to read the player. I just figure I need to upgrade the software. No problem. I open the program and click on their Web link thingy. It takes me to their Web site which opens an Adobe Acrobat application. It's a letter informing me that they went out of business.

Yay. No upgrades. No music on my MP3 player! I'm hoping to get an Apple iPod or something like it.

I don't have a mp3 player, but i did have a mini-disc player. Piece of *****. My computer wouldn't ever accept it, we tried over and over. Finally i took the piece of ***** back. what a piece of *****. I'm just gonna stick to my old sony discman, and original headphones that actually go over your head.

Thats a good point Kristafon. Digital Cameras used to be pretty expensive and there wasnt as big a selection as there is now. There isn't that good of a selection of MP3 players either. The majority of them are just different versions of a certain type or model, all being pretty expensive.

My mp3 player is about 2 years old and is an iRock. Only holds 64mb which is about 20-23 songs, but I can live with it. Its not like the new fancy things like iPod, it just plays songs and doesnt even list the song names, just the track number.

I have an E-digital mx100, just because it's not a big name brand doesn't mean it's crappy...in fact... it's terrific!
