In PA, for overall, Leap the Dips, since it is the oldest in the world. Very unique to see coaster history like this. For thrills, definately Thunderbolt.

Wooden: no coaster comes close to the almighty THUNDERBOLT

Steel: a bit closer of a race but I guess the Phantom's Revenge wins over Steel Force simply because of the first drop.

Both are at Kennywood...does that tell ya something?

Well I haven't been to KW...I've only been to Hershey and Knoebel's I'm going to Dorney this year, though. Anyway, from what I've been on, LR is the best wooden coaster and Great Bear is the best steel. Sooperdooperlooper is pretty good to IMHO.

been to the following parks in PA...

Hersheypark
Knoebels
Williamsgrove (pre Wildcat)
Lakemont
Dutch Wonderland
Kennywood (last season of Steel Phantom)

At those parks, rode very coaster except Exterminator at Kennywood.

That beign said...

Best wood: Phoenix (Knoebels)
Best Steel: Great Bear (Hershey)

(got a feeling the steel category will change soon... planning a trip to Dorney this coming Friday)
