October TNPP voting

It's that time of month again. There are five parks for your consideration.
Ghoulie's Grove Haunted Park by dkmaddog
Haunted Wasteland by SFGadvKing
Four Peaks Manor by HPStormRunner22
Spirits Mountain by ride6
Ghostville by bk2004

The one problem we had last month was lack of votes (only 7), so to anyone reading this thread, just take a quick look at these parks, post a sentence or two about them, and cast your vote. Good luck to everyone

Well I think SFGadvKing outdid all of us in this competition. His park was amazing. My second place vote goes to bk2004 with Ghostville. Another great park with the best coaster designs out of any of the submissions. The bronze goes to ride6 with Spirits Mountain. Another all around strong park.

HPStormRunner22's park won't download for me. It says something like "Missing Object File". I did look at all the other parks, and I havn't completely decided, so I was wondering if anyone knows what the problem is for that one park that won't load. And if I can't see that park, should I still vote?

/\ That happened to me too. I think what is wrong is that he didn't check 'export custom scenery' in the options window.

Read my short and sweet reviews of the parks here....

Haunted Wasteland

Spirits Mountain

Ghoulies Grove Haunted Park

My vote goes to Spirits Mountain.

^Your park still won't download for me. I really don't know why!!

Ok, well I thought all the parks were really great. They all were excellently themed, and had things I liked about each of them.

But, having to choose, which is hard, I'm going to vote for Spirits Mountain, by ride6. This park, in my opinion was great, and I really had trouble finding things I didn't like. I loved the coaster layouts, especially Demon Rails. The stations were very cool, and the waterfalls on the mountain in the middle were very nice. I absolutely loved the buildings with red windows. I thought it was very original. The only things I didn't really like, were some of the bushes, which looked tropical, and the orange flowers. But overall, a very great park! Great job.

I thought all the parks were great, and all the coaster layouts were really nice. Great job everyone!

^Thanks.

I hope I can pull off a win even with Kings lead. This makes me wonder just what he didn't show in the screens. I'll have to download when I get home just to see what all the fuss is about.

probably the biggest thing i didnt show in the screens was the big haunted mansion i built. im kinda proud of the way it turned out. other than that, you can see the full layouts of the two coasters and all the surrounding theming and flat rides in the park.

thanks for everyone who voted!

I finally got a chance to look at the parks, but I don't have the time to write any reviews for them, so I'm sorry about that. All the parks will very good though. Heres how I rank them.

1. Haunted Wasteland
2. Spirits Mountain
3. Ghostville
4. Ghoulie's Grove Haunted Park
5. Four Peaks Manor

Therefore, my vote goes to SFGadvKing.

This was a close one, and I think everyone submitted excellent parks. However, I have to give my vote to Haunted Wasteland. It was the exceptional scenery that set this park apart from the others. There were some things I didn't like about it, but they were relatively small, and the architecture was so incredible it overruled the negative things about the park.
That said, I have to say something about Ghoulie's Grove. It had the feel of a haunted castle, with the black and gray medieval theming, and, for a park with no eye-popping custom scenery, as was the case with Haunted Wasteland, it was very good. It was a prime example of how a great park can be made without any special scenery pieces.

Just a reminder, barring unforseen circumstances, this poll will close around 3 p.m. Pacific Time on November 1. If you haven't voted yet, I urge you to do so now.

I just took a quick look at them all, and a few of them didn't work for me unfortunatley, so here's my take.

1. Ghoulies Grove: I absolutley loved this park. Despite it being small, and didn't have a whole lot of depth, I thought it had just the right approach to it. The theme was sort of off, but I liked it better than the super haunty ones.
2. Ghostville: I though Ghostville was a great park, but lacked a lot of uniqueness. Very good park, and outstanding coasters, just lacked some innovation.
3. Four Peaks Manor: A good park, but lacked somethings that I thought were critical to the park. Decent overall.

N/A Spirits Mountain: Unable to view this park, bad files etc.
N/A: I was very dissapointed that your park did not work, SfGadvking, I was looking forward to it. I let the data extract itself, but it kept popping up with a message displaying something negative.

Everyone did a outstanding job with the parks! Congraduations to you all. I am sorry that some files were corrupted and wouldn't allow me to view your park. This is not exactly my fault, or your fault either. If you have any last minute corrections on the files I need to look at briefly, please inform me!

VOTING OVER

First Place: Haunted Wasteland by SFGadvKing (11 votes)
Second: Spirits Mountain by ride6 (4 votes)
Tied for third: Ghoulie's Grove Haunted Park by dkmaddog, Four Peaks Manor by HPStormRunner22, and Ghostville by bk2004 (1 vote each)

Again, thanks to both all the people who entered a park and everyone who voted. We went from 7 votes last month to 18 votes this time, so I think that's a great improvement. Congradulations to everyone.
