January submissions

Happy 2005 to everyone.
It's the first of the month, so submissions are now open for the January contest. This month, your task is to build a Six Flags style park. This is NOT a recreation contest; instead, build a park with Six Flags elements in it. If you don't know what Six Flags elements are......well......then you've probably only been on this board a day or two. Do a search in the coasters or parks forum for Six Flags, you'll get the idea soon enough.

I also want to remind everyone of the general rules.
  • Parks must be no smaller then 50x50 and no bigger then 128x128
  • Parks may be built with RCT1 (expansion parks permitted), RCT2 (no expansion packs) and RCT3. I repeat, RCT3 is allowed this month, and for all future months.
  • If you use RCT2 and use any custom data (stalls, rides, scenery, paths, etc.), the "Export Custom Data" box must be checked.
  • Trainers and any other form of hacking is permitted, as long as the hacking doesn't crash the park
  • The park must be MOSTLY of the submitter's construction.
That's it. Post links to your submissions below. As always, I hope to see some good ones this month.

Nobody says that you will lose. Any park is accepted.

First, you upload your park into the speedzone here on TN. After you do that you copy and paste the link into this thread. That's all!

If you need more specific instructions, just PM me or I'm sure someone will explain it more detailed if needed.

Thanks and good luck!

They are due by 2 p.m. Pacific Time on January 25.
And I would say the sandbox fits the size qualifications. It's pretty small.

Right click on the icon for your park. Click "send to" and then click "compressed zip folder." Then click yes and it should go into one.

Then upload it to the speedzone.

1.4MB is fine.

If people do have questions of any kind regarding the TNPP, I'd like them to be in this thread: http://www.thrillnetwork.com/boards/...ad.php?t=31164. That's our all-purpose discussion place, any question you ask in there will get answered.
I'd like to keep this thread just for submissions, for the sake of keeping things in order. So if you have any kind of question, comment, suggestion, etc. about the TNPP, please use the above link.

And that's the end of the submission period. Thanks to our three parkmakers this month.
