February Submissions

Please post your links to your submitted February parks below. Don't forget the rules:
  • The park may use RCT1 (including expansion packs), RCT2 (no expansion packs), or RCT3.
  • The park must be between 50x50 and 128x128. The sandbox park in RCT3 is allowed.
  • Custom data may be used in RCT2 (the "Export Custom Data" box must be checked), and hacking is permitted as long as the game doesn't crash.
  • The park must be primarily of the submitter's construction
  • The theme for this month, in honor of the Academy Awards, is movies. Theme a park to a movie, movie series, a movie studio, movies in general, even to the Oscars themselves. You should have more then enough inspiration.
Remember, this is the last contest in the Second Round. The winning park this month will join the December and January winners in the second Winner's Circle, to be held in early March. The winner of that contest will receive $50 to Amazon.com. If you miss this contest, the next $50 won't be awarded until early June, for the March/April/May winners.
Please keep all TNPP related discussion in this thread. And if you prefer, please feel free to PM, IM, or email me with any questions, comments, concerns, etc.
Submissions will be closed at 2 p.m. PST on February 22.

Let the submissions begin!

I'm officially asking for an extension until Thursday night. School, work, and error trappers have held me back and Thursday is my next day off. I'm sorry this is on such short notice, but I was working on it tonight after work (notice post at 245am EST) and got hit with another error trapper after about an hour of work. I will PM you or post if something comes up and I won't be able to finish by then so people aren't waiting for me.

Thanks
-Mav

Can we say until 3 p.m. PST on Thursday (Feb. 24)? Will that be enough time?

Unless anyone has some objections, I see nothing wrong with this. However, be aware some deadlines will change.
Voting: Voting will run from 3 p.m. PST on Feb. 24 until 3 p.m. PST on March 3.
Winner's Circle: Voting in the Winner's Circle will go from 3 pm. PST on March 3 until March 13.
The March submission period will open, unchanged, on March 1.

So take note, this will mean a delay on announcing the Winner's Circle and the winner of the $50 dollar gift certificate.

its not really a problem for me but i did work long and hard pretty much all day sunday and monday morning on my park to get it finished. there are some parts that i did rush and i feel could have been done better if i had more time. i guess it doesnt matter, but in the future, when you set a date, i suggest you try to keep to it.

Hey, you know, I'd have preferred more of an advance notice, but what can you do? Of course, you can always work some more on your park and resubmit it if you like.
If you're having techincal problems, extensions can be granted. However, I want to make it clear not to abuse extensions. We'll grant them for unexpected technical difficulties, but if you decide to go out one night and don't work on a park, that's your decision, no extension there.

Just under the deadline......
Well, at least it's in, that's what matters.

So that's the end of our submission period. Thanks to our three parkmakers.
