Good luck to you too. What I wonder is how someone could vote for you if the park can not be seen. Making a vote for yourself does not do anything, for the other competitors can just vote for themselves too to even it out.

I do not have RCT3...so I cannot rate Deep Blue Amusement Park.

World of Nature also has an expansion pack...that I also do not have.

It's not just him. I downloaded it, there was nothing inside. If you need some assistance in re-uploading it, I'd be glad to help.
Are you sure World of Nature uses an expansion pack, or is there just a missing data file (perhaps rocket forgot to check "Export Custom Objects" or something).

I don't think I used any expansions though. I don't even have the expansions, but just some of the files. I made sure that the objects I used were not part of the expansions. If you were to tell me which objects are a part of the expansion, please go ahead.

A lot of the objects that I used had been custom though.

If it is allowed, I might try and fix the objects, so that it works. What I may have done was click scenery that was part of the expansion pack and not used it. If more pictures are needed, I will do that because I spent about 37 hours on this park for the past two weeks.

If I can not fix the file so that people without the expansions can use it, would it be fine for me to upload more pictures of the park in the different areas?

I do not know how I can fix the park, so that the objects are not being used in any way. Would you be able to say objects that may have been used that are in the packs? I had downloaded the demos of the expansion packs and taken the objects from their. I do not know what I can do to help you though.

Aaron, I had checked the export plugin objects. I will re-check just in case though. Maybe my idea could work if the parks don't work. Both of us tried to get an output of a successful park. It could work.

This may be a suggestion for coasterdude28 to do as well.

It says you need Time Twister....

Note: To be fair, if you do not own RCT3, please do NOT vote in the contest at all (It is not fair, since we allow RCT3.) I know it seems sort of stupid about how you can't vote if someone used software you don't have, but its just not fair, especially since you cannot view it.

So Again, if you do NOT have RCT3, and cannot view the RCT3 submission, please do not vote. It is only fair.

I checked the objects, and there are like a couple items that were chosen by default that had actually been for the expansions maybe. I, myself don't have the expansions and I will try and help everyone get the necessary files, if that is what it will come to.

It is possible to take pictures in RCT3. The screenshots are made by pressing a shortcut key that can be configured in a menu. Then, the pictures will be in - "My Documents/My Pictures/RCT3".

Ok. It is a .dat file. How do I change it to a .zip file? Is that possible? I am a little new at this.

Right click on the park file > Send to > Compressed "zipped" folder

And that's the file type you need to upload it on.

Sorry for the double post but is there a way that I can upload the pics after I uploaded the park? When I go into Edit park/ride it does not have an area for me to put my pics. Any help is appreciated. Hopefully after this time I wouln't have so many problems.

You upload the pictures when you upload the ride. So yeah...

But, you could post them here...or make a thread for the park and put them there. No harm in that, now is there?

#1 Airtime Heaven. Five coasters can be seen from this view and they all have great airtime.

#2 One of the smaller coasters in the park. over 4,ooo ft. of twisted steel.

#3 A meeting of helixes. Two coasters come together for a thrilling and chilling G force experience.

#4 The "kiddie" coaster that pack a punch.

#5 This is the beginning of the que for Sea Serpent, the 10,000 ft. long giga coaster.

I don't own Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 at the time, so I am not voting. (Its not fair to the other contestant with the RCT3 park if I just toss my vote at the RCT2 park cause I simply own it.)

We'll work something out if there is a tie.

When I tried to open World of Nature on my computer, I received the message that Time Twisters was needed. I was, however, able to view it on a friend's computer, but the rules clearly state that expansion packs may not be used. Kyle L and I have had a long debate about this, and I'd like everyone, particularly rocket2234, to take note.

You MAY NOT use expansions for RCT2 in ANY TNPP submitted park at this time. We've been very clear on this since Day 1.
World of Nature violates this rule in that it needs Time Twisters to view.
Whether or not you have the expansion pack is irrelevant. Time Twisters data in the park means it requires Time Twisters to view.
Under contest rules, a park which uses RCT2 expansions can be disqualified. We did very seriously consider this and allow Deep Blue to win by default.
However, ultimately, it will remain in the contest, because it is unjust to disqualify so late in the competition, and because you were unaware that the scenery caused this to happen.
If World of Nature does win and advance to the Winner's Circle, you will have to remove all Time Twisters scenery from the park and resubmit it. If the park continues to require TT scenery when the Winner's Circle begins, we will take that as a forfit and the May winner will win the $50.
Again, we're allowing it to remain because this was something we were unaware would happen (Kyle and I didn't know this would happen either, we thought scenery data didn't need expansion packs).
Consider this the warning. From now on, everyone knows that Wacky Worlds or Time Twisters scenery in the park will require that expansion pack, and thus will be disqualified. No more excuses.
rocket2234, if you submit any more parks, make sure they don't include Time Twisters data. You may need to remove the data from your computer in order to make it work. If you have questions about if a park will work without any expansions, feel free to send it to me and I will check it out.
If some of you are upset by this decision, then I'm sorry. This was a very tough choice we had to make, but we feel this is the best solution.

Having said that, I am casting my vote for World of Nature. While the coasters in Deep Blue, particularly Wave Runner and Teal Eel were superior, Deep Blue lacked scenery. World of Nature on the other hand, combined some very good rides with nice theming, giving it the edge.

Well I did state in the beginning that my park lacked theming because I started it the day before. In all honesty I was wondering if it would be in anyway possible to have both parks continue on to the winner's circle due to the missunderstanding with the scenery expansion pack deal. I think that would be a fair thing to do but I understand that that is probably not possible. Also I have the feeling that many people did not vote for either park because they do not have RCT2 and/or RCT3. I think this is something that needs to be worked on in the future to get more people to vote. I am not sure how we can go about doing this, but the votes were really lacking this time around.

I for one wouldn't want to submit a park and only have about 3 people vote on it because they're the only ones that follow the TNPP with RCT2 and RCT3. Plus, I really wouldn't want someone voting purely on pictures either.
I really think it should just stay RCT (+ expansions) and RCT2 as those are the most widely used versions.
