August TNPP Submissions

Though a small part of me says this is a lesson in futility, I'll remain optimistic. The August TNPP contest is now open. You all have the task of creating a park based on the myths and legends from any culture, and there's no shortage of subject matter. Remember the basic rules: No RCT2 or RCT3 expansions; parks must be between 50x50 and 128x128; parks must be mostly solo efforts. We will stop taking submissions (and I sincerely hope there will be more then one) at the end of the month on August 31.

The "Export Custom Scenery" option is in the Options window, accessed from the Disk icon. It's something you have to do within RCT2 itself. Go to the disc icon, select "Options", and then check the box marked "Export Custom Objects". Then save the park and upload this new saved version to the Speedzone.

I had a park more or less ready that I really liked, and then I accidently installed a tree from soaked.
Before that, when I opened the sandbox it was pretty clear that anybody could view my park. Now, even post tree deletion, it says they can't.
Unless I can figure out a way to fix it I won't be entering this month.
Any suggestions? I've created a new save file and all, it doesn't seem to help.

It's too late to submit your park, they stopped taking entries on August 31st. But you can still submit it in Speedzone anyway.

well, i don't see anything saying its over yet, and i'm pretty sure Aaron's been on since the 31st. Also, no new contest rules have been announced... so i'm assuming they're just leaving this open till either
A:a suitable number of entries are received or
B: they come up with something better
or of course
C: i'm wrong entirely.

My mistake, for some reason thought this contest was beginning at the start of this month and ending in a few weeks. I'll submit it into the next one I guess, if there is one.

This old verison of the TNPP is essentially dead. We have restarted it in a new format (click here for details). Intamin's park can be brought back for this new contest or abandoned (Intamin, more information here.
