I've been working on a park lately (RCT3, including Soaked). Maybe in the next few weeks (months?) you can expect that to be uploaded.

thing is, there are so few active members that the RCT board is right on the verge of non-existance. Those that are active take their time and produce good quality parks, usually of decent proportions. personally, i'd rather have a dozen high-quality parks a year than a hundred just created for the heck of it. and again, your definition of quality may vary. this is NOT NE. it never will be. parks are never quite that insane, but too much quater-tile and jagged rocks can obviously be a bad thing, so i'm glad that TN is kind of the happy medium here. thing is, no one really aspires to be mediocre.

I've got a couple things in the works right now, it's just been difficult, what with everything that's going on, to put a lot of time into them and finish them up. You'll see things from me soon enough, don't worry.

RCT2 is an old game. There are a lot fewer people playing it.

I have several RCT2 projects in progress but they're all for contests at other sites.

I've actually been meaning to create a new RCT2 park with some of the time I have inbetween classes, but I've yet to install the game on my laptop. I'm actually kinda waiting to get RCT3/Soaked because my laptop can actually run it.

I'm working on something for Pro Designs over at RCPro, and when that contest gets finished (mid Jan.) I'll continue to make it into a full park and post it both here and at RCPro.

You know that DBC is 150x150, right? That's, like, the biggest park I've ever started. And it takes months and months to fill all that space in and have it not look shoddy.

I will start entering parks when you can use Wild, but that might be a while.

hmm...

I'll be happy to contribute when things start looking healthy again, after all I spent a good couple weeks this summer building Banana Valley for the TNPP here (well that and I wanted to try rct2 without custom sceanery) and it just got washed under since it was the only (or 1 of 2) entries for that 3 months. In fact I don't think I got a single reply of feedback on that here... Then I rehosted and posted it on NE and got nearly 2 pages of replys, without it even being in a contest!

A number of factors have played into my inactivity this past year. For one I had some legal factors that are still in the process of final resolution (the civil case is being considered)...and that took a lot of my energy early. As far as the contests go, since I cannot split my Expansion Packs from RCT2, then I cant enter anything with any degree of certainty.* Otherwise, I have just stayed very busy overall with work and trying to move.

Maybe a solution as far as the software limitations would be to submit it with the software used, and then grade it based upon that...if they ever really get started again. I have wanted to be more active, but I have just stayed so busy. I will keep checking in here and will probably play with SpeedZone a bit more in the near future.

Yeah i dont think TN is the best place for RCT anymore. It has some decent uploaded things, but other sites have better things. I found a good website that has proffessional parks done [big ones that look and seem real] but a larger variety of them are from RCT1, but there are still rct2 also.
