I find it weird that you only rated Datona Beach 7.1. IMO, that was a great park! I would definitly vote for it if I wasnt entered in this contest.

C'mon people! There are only 10 votes so far, that is pitiful! I know more people downloaded the parks than that.

Well, my vote goes to... ME!!! (Wow, who'd have guessed?)

But really, I think ALL the entered parks were great this month (err... these months). I would have trouble picking a favorite from them anyway, but it would probably be United Thrills of America or Sandcastle Shores.

Well I must say I'm impressed with these parks, mainly because mine never get off the ground.
Anyway, my vote went to Cedar Mountains because I think this kid (but who am i to talk) has a lot of potential. I saw a lot of new ideas in the park for rides, scenery, and a combonation of the two
Well, good job, SFMM Dude!

yeeeeaaahhhoooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I made it to #3!!!!!!! I'd like to thank everyone who voted for me, staff and user, and I'd like to congratulate everyone else. The parks have gotten so much better than in the first months, and it is all because of you people submiting your stuff. Butterfinger is especially getting better I noticed. A few more parks, and Natelox will have some competition!!!!!

he he, I'm not bragging, buuuuuuut............. Just wait for my next park IMO, the one I'm working on now should be able to seriously compete with ANYONE. So far, it looks like it will become AT LEAST twice as good as Sandcastle Shores!

Get Ready! Comming in July: **** *********** (name withheld until release date)

BTW, contact Alex for your mousepad, SFMM DUDE

Well, congratulations to everyone else who entered! All these parks were of very good quality, including Jhcbiinoc and Airkid (who I really should have tied with, now I wish I didn't vote for myself). My next park will probably be in July (or maybe even August), hopefully it'll be better than this one (not that I'm disappointed with what I got in this; the top 4 parks were all excellent!)

Its not a bad thing to vote for yourself. I do it every contest, and I know almost everyone else does also. I definietly agree with you about the entries. They were all awesome! This has probably been our strongest month of submissions yet.

Sandcastle Shores

Andy Hodgson's Walkthrough Review #1

I headed off on my trip. It was to be an amazing one at that. I arrived at the Sancastle Shores Dock around 8pm on a Thursday night. Exhausted from my long travels there, I checked into my room, located on the Third Deck South End, and went to sleep. I woke up bright and early that Friday, about 7am, and grabbed some breakfast at the Krispy Kremes onboard. The theme for this cruise trip was the cheap food! Only $.70 for two donuts. So, I of course grabbed three 2 donut deals and a Pepsi, spending just under $5.00. Lounging on the pool chairs all day, and resting at the decks. Around dinner time, I grabbed a quick mocha chiller at the South American Coffee Shop, and went under deck to check out the reason why this is the greatest cruise ship in the world, The Cruise Liner Coaster!!! Simply awstruck, I easily dished out the $2.00 per ride to get this thing in my credit. After ten rides, emptying my pockets, and making new friends with the ride ops, I finally called it a night. I mean, I had to be rested for the biggest day of the trip to come, Sandcastle Shores! Once again I arose to the birds chirping, getting the worm, at 6am. As I handed over my ticket, which you get for taking the cruise, I stepped inside this beautiful park. Very Bonfante Gardens like, only with a twist of Paramount's Inc. in it. I took the time to sit and admire the view near the Gnat, as well as taking a few rides on it. Walking to my right, I encountered Berserker, and just had to take a spin, make that several spins. After my rides on Berserker, I was thirsty, so I grabbed a quick lemonade and Leisure Lemonade. After letting that settle, I saw some of my favorite rides, S&S double shots. I took twin rides on the twins, Beach Blast and Shore Shot. Next I headed for Twisted Terrapin, passing the Teacups along the way. The line was short, but the ride was amazing. A massive first drop into the best helix around, and the "U" turn combined with tunnels made this the best ride in the park. As I walked back past Teacups, I noticed that Crown Warrior was broken down, so I rode Dark Knight instead. Incredible ride, inclined immelman was the best feature, along with the long trackage and fast pacing. This ride has so many dips and turns underground, you can't help but feel disorientated. By now it was past lunch, and I was starving. I walked over to Paradise Boardwalk and grabbed a bite at Sally Salmons Seafood. Not to mention grabbing numerous rides on The Sea Snail, as well as the Spinning Scallop, Great White, and The Oyster, which has perhaps the best view of any flat ride. The sun was high, and shining bright, and I was burning hot, so I went to see what all the fuss about the Typhoon was. It lived up to its hype. A hump over the castle walls filled with airtime, large drops, and many splashdowns were included in this one-of-a-kind water coaster. Ironically, it started to drizzle after I got off, and not wanting the rain to stop me, I hit the Perilous Pelican and the best wild mouse in the country, Beach Rats. It focuses on large curves and sudden drops to thrill its riders. Near the end of the ride, it carves through the hillsides of an Aztec theme. Definitely a park and crowd favorite. After spending 2 1/2 hours trying to get through the Maze of the Medieval, I made it, and saw the best Kodak moment in the park, a twisting downward drop of The SurfSide Cyclone. I had to ride, and walking to the entrace, which blends in wonderfully, I went under one of its camelbacks, amazing. It screams Dinn Co. in every way. Fast pacing, wickedbad turns, huge helices, and swooping drops. The line was surprisingly long, so I only got three rides out of this giant. Dinnertime had arrives, so I got some food at Gary's Grill, and watched the kids come screaming out of Chute-Out, a long and twisted water slide. Then I saw it, Catapult, so I ran, ran like the wind. Ran across the Grand Sandcastle Bridge, and ran until I got to the overflowed queue. I mean, this is the longest queue line I've ever seen, but it was filled to it's limit. There was a four hour wait, but I withstood it with ease. Taking pictures here and there, and talking to fellow ACErs in front of me helped to pass the time. I got my ride and photo soon enough. This twisting maniac will forever be known as a modern marvel for this park. Nighttime had fallen, and I couldn't miss out on some night rides, so I checked out Twisted Terrapin another three times, and saw Crown Warrior was open. Walked back to it, and there was no line, I was bursting with excitement. They were dueling now! I did ride it, five times that is, and the dueling elements really make this ride a classic. Especially for Crown Warrior. The park was a mere 30min. away from closing, so I had to say goodbye, atleast for this day. As I went into my room on the cruise liner, I couldn't wait for another day at...
Sandcastle Shores

Reviewer's Notes:
I personally loved this park. Looking at the overhead map view in RCT, you can see the best beauty of this park, it's excellent layout. You used the surrounding water and extra water inside the park to its limit. Combine that with the excellent variety of rides, and the quality of them, this park is in the RCT Hall of Fame. I hope you got what you were hoping and waiting for, as I know you had to wait an extra month to see how your park turned out. Well, it turned out wonderfully. My personal favorites were Twisted Terrapin, my favorite RCT woodie of all time, and Beach Rats, my second favorite RCT wild mouse of all time. Look forward to seeing more of your parks, and hope you liked this walkthrough review. Also, my 1600th post, so feel special.
