Video reports!

I thought it might be cooler to have a video report instead of writing about it. I'm finished with my Kennywood video so maybe we could ad a new section for video reports.

The movie is to long for youtube and I can't attach it so we should have a video section.

It's also a matter of how much TN can hold. Which I doubt is much.

^ Yeah just to see how many people were on each thread was disabled. I don't know if TN could support all this.

This is my opinion...

I have people who post photo trip reports on their private pages and link us to them here. Chip has some good photo trip reports. If you are familiar with the Robb Alvey, you'll see that he enjoys taking pictures and attaching a story.

As far as the video TR's go...you are aware that you can divide the video so that it would fit into Youtube's specs. All you would have to do is link us to the video(s) you'd end up getting more comments from the outside world than just enthusiasts.

In short, I really don't think Trip Reports as the sub-forum it is, needs to be divided any further.

And by the way, I merged the poll here.

I would suggest we have a sub folder in "Trip Reports and Travel Tips" labeled "Video Report Links" I agree that TN would likely be pressed for space if we put a lot of videos on here.

^^ Sounds good to me. Then the regular trip reports would be for written with or w/out photos.

^^Why can't you just make the title of your thread "VIDEO TR"? That way, people will know you made a video. Look at some recent Trip reports. If the member has attached a series of photos, they advertise it as a PHOTO Trip report.

And I'm moving this to general questions...

None of the videos on TN are accessible on my computer because the format isn't recognized.

I like the idea, but I really don't think it's neccesary.

I figure I show you a video of the coaster enthusiast's anthem.

Now all you do is post the URL... not the Object HTML code. It'll figure out.

Now... if you need help deciphering what the song really means...

And the real inspiration...

Yeah. That song seems a little inappropriate considering you have a curse blocker. What does that have to do with it anyway?

I pictured Jesus as a vegetarian and why is Steven showing us videos about his favorite show?

You got my favorite show wrong... it's actually Sesame Street.

At least until Kermit turned emo. Then I switched to reruns of Mr. Rogers.

I think Steven has shown us just how easy it is to post a video on the boards. With that said, I really don't think there is a need for a separate forum for video reports, as opposed to text reports.

Therefore, we can close this.
