| Member #
Hey i just had a weird question. With the recent 10,000th member it brought this to mind. Do you keep track of every member with a #? Like who was the first member but mainly i was just curious as to what # i was. Thanks.

All you have to is hover your mouse over your name to see your number. I know that when stories are posted, your ID number is used.

Correct!!! Your 6882!!! I thought Andrew would be lower that 1900 since he's been around since 2001. I'll have to play with that a bit and find the 1st member.

Do you hover your mouse over your name where it appears in each post or at the bottom of the forums page?

| The ID numbers are used by the forum software to keep track of members. Its much easier for the program to handle a number than it is for it to recognize members by name. Not to mention it makes it easier for sorting. The numbers are in order and do increase. The lowest member ID is 1. This account was the original administrative account but is no longer used (although that admin is still here). Just about everything on our site is given an ID number (members, posts, threads, forums, rides, parks, news, amongst other things). These numbers are what allow us to keep track of data. So its so much used to keep track of the order members sign up but its used as a way to keep track of who members are.
