on the main page it is showing 2004/05 threads for construction, not 2005/06

Hit refresh or CTRL+F5, or clear your cache, and you'll see it. It actually was changed at least 2 weeks ago. Below is what you should see.

Also, where's the link back to TN in your website (the one in your signature)?

With all do respect to your rules and everything, but I have a question: Why do you need a link back because if people go to a site from a link here, they will already know about TN. Please note that in no way amI trying to disrespect your rules in any way. I am just simply confused about why its that big of a deal.

It's a big deal because of the people who try to start sites simply to drive people away from the site. All they would do for every post is say "to find out more about this, go to my site in my sig (which would be a link to another site's forum thread). Plus, if you are trying to advertise the site, it's a form of payment, otherwise we would charge you to put a link into the signature (much like we are now charging those who sign up strictly to advertise their crap).

You wouldn't have liked our original policy long ago... where we didn't allow links at all unless it was an internal link to the site.
