I have read several places that the good people at Bolliger and Mabillard developed the trains for Gwazi at the Gardens in Tampa. Is this true? I wouldn't think they would have anything to do with a wooden coaster.

I really doubt it, since the Gwazi trains are as uncomfortable as the ones on the Wildcat at Hershey. It is a challenge for a 230lb. person to get the seat belt on and sit in the seat.

There was a rumour flying around that Walt Bolliger was seen riding Gwazi, but as far as I know, the trains for Gwazi were designed and built by the Philadelphia Tobbogan Company (Coasters) and are the same trains found on many other "corporate" woodies.

The trains on Gwazi are were built by PTC. The only B&M woodie trains can be found on SFMM's Psyclone.

B&M have nothing to do with Gwazi - it was built by Great Coasters. <BR>yes they are uncomfortable, but so is Scorpion. |

It's PTC, just like most modern woodies.
