| Mantis Train?
I don't know if this is a repeat but what the hay. I noticed that when I went to CP in the beginning of Augutst and October that one of Mantis' trains was on the this where they fix trains, but then in October, the same train was covered with a tarp and both times only 2 trains were running. Anyone know what was going on?

maybe its cause CP has so many coasters it takes them so long to inspect them all.

Toward the end of the season, when the crowd sizes drop and staffing becomes a problem, Cedar Point will transfer one train off of a lot of the coasters that have shorter lines to begin with: Iron Dragon, Disaster Transport, Mantis, Corkscrew, Gemini, Mine Ride, Mean Streak... This helps out the crew because they don't have to rush so much to get the trains loaded / unloaded to run correctly. It also saves wear and tear on the trains themselves, of course, which saves some money in the long run. I can't explain for sure why trains would already have been transferred off in early August, but staffing gets more difficult that time of year each season, so it's not unreasonable that they would have done it early.

No...if the records consistently show that lines are shorter on Mantis at that time, then why run around every second unloading and unloading 3 trains then just run 2 because they know its enough to handle the amount of people in a timely manner...
