Coasters that seem smaller/talller than thier actual height.

I think goliath seems not like its actual height, mainly because superman is right next to it and when ur at the top of Goliath ur like "woa......were only 1/2 up the way of superman!"

yea i was going to say expedition geforce too. this really doesnt look 200 feet tall.

can we do faster/slower than real speed too? i would say wildcat seems much faster than 45 mph.

Nitro looks a lot bigger than 230 ft. This is probably because of the small amount of supports, the distinctive colors, or the fact that it towers over every other ride in the park.

geforce has B&M supports with Intamin track/trains, and it looks TINY.
look at togo and vekoma, they have B&M style supports also, and the SD2K turnaround supports

anyway SD2K looks smaller than MF,probably cause of the less-steep lift climb

Viper at SFGAM looks small, because it is, but it is a great ride.

the arrow corkscrews especially the one michigans adventure look tiny. they're supposed to be 70 feet tall and the drop looks more like 7. but it reaches the ground . . . somehow. the drop on blue streak at CP looks and feels a lot higher and its about the same height.

Well, Steel Force looks small because it's in the lowest section of the park...not to mention IN THE MIDDLE OF A VALLEY! You know, when you're driving along the road and you looks down into DP, SF looks puny because it is so much lower in elevation than you are in the car.

Well, I'd have to say FreeFall (SFMM). It looks really small, but feels significantly larger when you're at the top. Not a great ride though.

To me, all roller coasters seem smaller from the ground than when you actually get on them, especially the mid-sized coasters.

The Racer at PKI is 90 feet tall, it doesn't seem like it at all. Xypersonic XLC doesn't seem too tall when you're at the top, looking straight at the Eifel Tower.

Any SLc or invert. The sense of height is greatly improved when u can look down and just see ur feet then the ground. On MF, i dont feel that high becuase there is a car below me. But that dosnt make it a bad ride.

American Eagle doesn't look like that big of a deal either....until you're barreling down that drop at 65+ mph!

The Comet at Hershey. I think its only 70 some feet tall, but the drop onto the lake makes it seem a lot bigger for soem reason.

Millennium Force I feel looks a lot taller from the view of causeway. Because its the coaster nearest to the lake, it makes it look twice as big as the Magnum XL-200. Its really all a visual thing. When i first saw MF from the causeway I continously denied myself that it was only 300ft. But then I didn't realize the viual distance that I kno understand. I know CP put MF right in front of the causeway view just to seem like that. Any person that didnt know its real height would just be terrifyed by it.

Well, I would have to say S:ROS at SFNE. Since SFNE is located on a river bank (hence it's old name Riverside), the land where the parking lots are much taller than where S:ROS's sitting, which is next to the river. So, at first glance, you may think it's less than 150 ft. By the time you reach the bottom of the lift hill, it's quite tall.

Supreme Scream at Knotts Berry Farm, I knew it would be high but there is nothing you can do to prepare for how high you really get. I felt like I was in a plane or something. Or maybe it just seems this way because you know you are going to fall from this hieght.

I don't know which Drop Zone you are talking about, but if you were referring to PKI's Drop Zone...you're right...that 264 ft. drop isn't much at all... ;)

How about the Boss? That coaster seems to drop forever going down those hills, and until you get on the thing you can't tell HOW high it is.
