The one great thing about coasters

The one great thing about coasters (besides from beign totally awesome!) is the fact that they tottally arent Racist or Sexist. If you look at most of the sports out today, there is some racism and sexist items, and coasters realtivley dont have selective causes, I know this is a wiered post, but I just wanted to say this to be proud about how coasters dont limit out people.

Coasters are racists to the cowardly. It is very degrading being made fun of because you are chicken to go on Batman (experience last year when i was chicken). Oh well, i guess I deserved it.

I wouldn't say racist, but biased to the cowardly. Also not really for roller coasters, but there are PLENTY of flat rides out there that have restraints that aren't, well, good to men. That's a lil sexist lol.

Biased is a good word, Chiller.

For a LONG time, I was one of those who was chicken. Flying in a plane was fine with me, but a rollercoaster at 200 feet scared me. For some people, like me, all they need is a friendly shove and "BOOM" they love coasters and flat rides. Coasters bring everyone of every race, color, ethnic group (you get my idea) together. Depending on the sport, it can cater to one group or another.

Could this thread me General Talk?? It's borderline between where we are now and GT. My 2.5 cents there.

Yeah. I always loved coasters and living near Six Flags I had always wanted to ride their loopers (Especially Viper. I know, Im crazy). But I was never tall enough. So I found from a friend that the Laser at Dorney Park you only needed to be 48". So First time I rode it I was flipping out up the lift but when it started I was just amazed...... :)

I think Raptordude makes a great point. Where else but amusement parks do you get along so well with everybody of every race? Rollercoasters are one of the few things on earth that actually bring the human race together peacefully. If there were more rollercoasters, there would probably be less crime.

Well maybe it's just because I am at an amusement park every single day, but I've seen quite a few.

I have seen a fight on a coaster. After being blown away on Roar at SFA, I watched from the brakes as some hoodlums started a fight with the ride ops over some stupid claim. Anyways in response to Raptordude, during the first half of the 20th century, there were parks with "whites only" policies. But that is directly related to segregation which passed after the Civil Rights Act. As for sexism, someone once told me that some amusement parks use a guy-friendly approach to their marketing scheme. I dunno, what do u think?

Well another good thing about coasters, they are real! I know a lot of you are thinking "well duh!" but what im saying is its amazing that man kind has even made things like this. All coasters are lucky to be alive, if you would call it that.

I guess you could say that, CPFan, I think that it is amazing what technology that we have and they seem to have advanced very much in the last few years and It is really hard to believe what excellent coasters we have, It really is mind-boggling to really think about it, and I can't wait to see the progress that we will make in the coming years!

I used to be one of the cowardly until my friends made me go on batman the ride. Ever since then, I've been hooked.
