Sweet! Is that inversion behind the vertical loop the zero-g roll? It looks kinda funny. Are you gonna get your hands on any more pics of it soon? I find it very interesting that Vekoma's actually making custom rides.

Wierd. It'll be interesting to see how this ride does compared to the typical SLC. I wonder if it'll be smoother since Vekoma had to engineer a completely new ride here. Maybe they'll improve their engineering as Arrow has.

Looks really cool. I wonder if the ride is any smoother than the standard slc? I also wonder if it'll be as good as Jubilee Odysee or if it'll be even better? Who knows. Cool pic roomraider, and if you get anymore please post them.

yup, That's vekoma's first and only Zero-G Roll (to my knowledge) and I saw a pic of the mine train and it looks incredible. Vekoma does great coasters, It's just a matter of if you realize it or not. I hope Vekoma builds more C-SLC's latter in the Future because the SLC clone i rode was great (only it slowed down too much on the inversions). Can't wait for more pics of both rides.

Arrrghhhh..... Roomie, you beat me in posting first..........

By the way, there isn't any indication about the name of the coaster yet, despite the filename of the picture is 'forest'.

And check this out too......

Nice theming, something in the range of Disney or Universal, not the cheap stuffs by Six Flags or Paramounts.

What kind of other rides (coasters) does this park have, and does it have an official website?

Well, it has a log-flume or shoot the chute with 26m of drop. It also has an Intamin built river rapids, plus a Top Spin, and a Space Shot.

It also has several 3D theaters..... plus many other flat rides.

The park is part of Overseas Chinese Town, which consists of hotels, resorts, water park, Windows of the World, Splendid China (both with miniature landmarks from around the world and China) and Happy Valley. The website is www.oct-tour.com. It has an English section. It's located in Shenzhen (result of the first capitalistic experiment in China), which is just across the border from Hong Kong.

I belive there is also a Cobra Roll between the elements seen and possibly a corkscrew somewhere after the helix.

That mine train looks like an awesome ride. I wish some american parks would actually theme their rides that well, scince sometimes the theming can make the ride. Also, cool pic of Jubilee Odysee

That theming really does look good!

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere (perhaps a coaster mag) that the inverted had 5 inversions. There was also a custom SLC that opened about 2 years ago in China- whether it was actually this one or a different one I don't know though!

BTW, not all SLC's are identical. Some have an extra helix on the end, such as the original at 6F Holland and I think one at Gardaland in Italy.

All standard SLCs are identical. The ones with an extra helix at the end is called "SLC+".
