| Japanese inverted coasters
I've heard of Orochi, the Raptor clone in Japan, but I saw on RCDB that there are 2 B&M inverted coasters in Japan that I had never heard of, Gambit and Diavlo. Can anyone tell me anything about these rides? Also, how about Pyrenees in Spain?

Gambit and Diavlo are B:TR clones. Miribilanda is not a Raptor clone, in fact, it's not even a coaster. Miribilanda (home of Katun, no clone) is a park in Italy, so you're waaay off. :D Orochi is the Raptor clone. Pyrenees is not in Spain, it's at a park called Parque Espana-Shima Spain Village, which is in Japan. I hope that clears stuff up.

From what I have seen of Pyreness it looks like the best invert out there. Has anyone been on it? If so can you give a review?

Thanks for your help. Diavlo and Gambit are B:TR clones? Their stats are somewhat different, with one being slightly taller and shorter in length than the first B:TR, and the other being slightly shorter (height) and longer than SFGAM. Well, i guess slight changes would be expected from clone to clone. Anyone been on these rides?

Heya Orochi at Expoland is as mentioned the Raptor Clone (its tinted pink actually lol) Diavlo at Central Park is the Standard Batman Gambit at Thrill Valley (Not Gotemba Family Land any more, The park shut down and reopened as part of a local shopping centre) is actually a mirror of the batmans. Pyrenees is my favorite looking B&M and really does look incredible with the tight helix and air time hill included I have more info on each here. Where is the airtime hill on Pyrennes? I've recreated this one in RCT, but with no airtime hill. As far as my knowledge goes, the coaster's layout goes like this:

180* drop to the right
vertical loop
zero-g roll
vertical loop
90* turn to the left
cobra roll
90* ascending turn to the right
360* upward helix through the second vertical loop
brake run
corkscrew to the right
180* turn to the left
???airtime hill???
540* downward helix
brakes
Is that where it is?

Hey Check these pics out No 540* helix im afraid But the air hill is kind of visable The airtime hill can bee seen jumping the que line behind the rest of the track in this shot if you look carefully the airtime hill can be seen over the top of the que. very nicely positioned. hope that helps

Wait, I never noticed that airtime hill before! Arg! Now I'm gonna have to work on my recreation in NL again. I thought that part was a brake run. Darn. This really gets me down. I'll do that over the summer. Prepare for the coolest Pyrenees recreation ever! :D

LOL Chip. Hey they say the third time is a charm lol. Good luck on making it for your third time. Anyways, pyrennes and katun look like two of the coolest inverts out there. I'd love to be able to ride them sometime.

No...why haven't YOU ever heard of Pyrenees. I've known about the Japanese inverteds for quite awhile now, and I'm sure many others on these boards have too...

Although it isn't in Japan, here's another wicked looking B&M foreign inverted - Katun, the lift hill and drop pictured below are 164', and 147' |
