1950's hot-rods now on Xcelerator!

These are probably the first internet photographs of Xcelerator's 1950's hot-rod themed trains. The 3 of the 5 cars are shown at the link below...train is the purple train...supposedly, but looks like most of it is yellow. Did they change the train colors? Or is the "purple" part the accented part on the sides of the train? Who knows? They're flashy lookin'! And look closely. NO OVER-THE-SHOULDER RESTRAINTS!!!

Those look pretty sweet. I had never given any thought to what restraints it might have, but lap bars are gonna make it awsome.

They look wonderful. They really add the 50's touch to the whole ride. The colors mixed with the track colors look pretty ugly though. Are those seats elevated like on MF? I can't wait to ride this!

It's basically the same train Intamin uses on Superman: Ride of Steel and Millennium Force. They put some cool bodies on them though. Going up that massive hill with such freedom will be great. Kudos to Intamin once again!

Yes, the seating arrangement is tiered like the ones found on the new generation Intamin AG steel coasters like Expedition Ge-Force, Superman Ride of Steel, and Millennium Force.

It looks wonderful these are easily some of the tightest trains this side of dueling dragons and RnRC.

No...as of that picture, they ONLY put three of the 5 cars on the track. They're most likely going to do a pull through first.

Those are some cool looking cars. It's nice to see people still try to do some theming. I like the little flames and you can tell by the front and back of the train that it looks like a car. I like those trains a lot.

These are some really good looking coaster trains. They go very well with the theme of the ride.

Cool cool! I'm glad the trains are finally on the track. That picture from the pull through looks pretty cool. The biggest thing I see is that it has lap bars! Yay! Those cars look really neat, too.

Although those cars do look sweet and the ride will be amazing without OTSRs, the cars don't look as sweet as you're saying. If they wanted the coaster to look like a car, they soulda went to Disney and asked for some help. Anyone who has ever been on Rock n' Roller Coaster knows that that train is a car. The train on Xcelerator is a joke compared to RnRC's. But hey, if anyone ever beats Disney theming, then that will be the day of my death. Except Universal did it on DD at IOA. I guess it's good-bye to me! ;)

Those are one PHAT A** trans man! Those look super sweet, I mean, the whole theme of the coasters is 50's hot rods, im impressed that they incorporated the theme of thier coaster to thier trains, which is not like any other park......Im really impressed, GREAT JOB KBF!

I agree. Those trains are cool, but not really that spectacular like you guys make it out to be. Basically, to me, it just looks like the yellow train on MF with flames painted on and fins added. WDW's Rock 'n' RollerCoaster's "Super Stretch Limos" has those beat by far, unfortunately, for those who haven't been on it, I can't find any decent pics of them.

Wow, cool looking cars. Can you imagine standing on the top of that Top Hat? Those guys have some ball-bearings. As for being short, it did say these were 3 of what will be a 5 car train.

There are five cars per train, the trains aren't really that short. They don't do the entire train for the pull-through since they're kinda heavy. They only put three cars on the track for the pull-through. It's just easier that way.

I dont think that they will have big problems with capacity. First of all the train is not THAT short. 20 People in one train, I know a lot other trains who are a lot shorter. And since they are going to use 5 of these trains, I dont think it will be a problem. I just wonder: 5 trains? On that short track? I would think 4 or even 3 would be enough.

There are two five-car trains, that are able to sit 20 riders at a time each. This is just a more descriptive repeat as to what Wackokid just stated above me.
