| Hot News about dolly wood
Dollywood theme park of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is finally getting that long-rumored woodie in 2004: the Great Coasters-designed Thunderhead! The 3,230-foot-long, 55-MPH twister will be the main attraction of a new zone, dubbed "Thunderhead Gap" and feature a maximum drop of 100 feet. Utilizing a valley between two mountains, Thunderhead promises a lot of the wicked action we've come to expect from GCI (See Lightning Racer). And, for the first time ever, this coaster will boast a "fly-through" station. At the mid-point of the course, trains will fly eight feet over the exit platform, at about 40 miles per hour, yet still beneath the station's roof. Leave it to Mike Boodley and the GCI team to do such a wonderful thing. Thunderhead will bring Dollywood's coaster count back up to three, joining the enclosed Blazing Fury dark ride/coaster and the Arrow-designed Tennessee Tornado steel looper, and replacing the Thunder Express mine train that was sent packing to Arkansas' Magic Springs and Crystal Falls in 1998. this info from thrillride.com |

http://www.thrillnetwork.com/boards/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25015&highlight=dollywood+woodie Yeah, we've known about this for a little bit, but I'm still excited, even though I'll be moving away for school. I can still come back home and ride it.

No,we shouldn't tell him not to post here, but we should encourage him to be more observant of what he's doing. Who knows, one day he might just post something we didn't know about.

Don't make fun of the kid because he's slow, or really slow. Just saying that there is already another post is enough. I always liked TN because it didn't flame as much as other boards; there's no need to try to be like the other one.

and now for my next trick I will make this thread vanish. If you want to see more about Thunderhead, please use this link. http://www.thrillnetwork.com/boards/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25015&highlight=thunderhead In future, please use the search feature, it's the most fun you'll ever have with a button...maybe....perhaps. Anyway, this ere thread is gawwwwwwn.
