I find the launch to the most intense part of TTD, and the best part.

I found waking up the next day with a needle still in my arm, twitching with each heartbeat, and a stream of blood going down my arm into the palm of my cupped hand where it solidified into a half-sperical solid to be the most intense.

The launch is the most intense part. The drop is intense too, and if it were started like a normal 2st drop, it would be even more intense, but the launch beats any drop.

Definately launch. The drop is the "fun" part of the ride.

The launch is the best part. I just got so many butterflies in my stomach for such a long time during that launch, it was great! I agree, the drop is the "fun" part. I dont even remember blasting up because I was blown away by the launch.

The launch looks like it would be the most intense. I have yet to mark it down as "ridden" but it seems that the drop would be a distant second to the launch.

Absolutely the launch, more specifically the second half of the launch, as the speed simply continues to build past anything you've seen before. I didn't find the drop (or height, for that matter) nearly so intense in comparison.

To me it is being in the second train front seat and watching the train in front of you.

The Launch of course is much more intense, to think otherwise should mean a ban from this site...

I'd like to add to that.

To me it is being in the second train, front seat and watching the train in front of you roll back. It speeds towards you and about halfway down the launch, it really slows down. Then it's just a crawl towards you and you sit there and wait for them to come back.

The launch is indeed the best and most intense part of the ride. My favorite part of the launch is right at the end when you're going to fast that your cheeks and eyelids flap. That's madness!

The drop isn't really anything special. It's like Wicked Twister only you can move around a little more. And with airtime.

I would definitly have to say waiting for the launch. I mean watching all the people waiting in the 6 hour line cursing me off and giving me the finger is pretty intense.

OHH you mean the most intense part of actually riding the ride!? Well yea definitly the launch.

I bumped this thread over here so that the poll and discussion could continue. For future reference: all polls will now be placed in their respective forums (Coasters, Parks, etc.). If there is an old poll you'd like moved, just contact a moderator with the link to the old one and ask that it be moved. We're trying to move most of the current / active polls already, but you never know. Enjoy!
