I'm going to Coaster Mania 2004 on September 18,2004 and I will be staying at the Hotel Breakers. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for me since this will be my first ACE event?

I'll be there as well. I don't really have any tips since this will be my first ACE event at CP. I have been to CP several times before but i never stayed at or near the park. I'll look for you.

[color=black][/color][color=black]Just so every one knows; Coaster Mania is NOT an ACE event. It’s open to all coaster clubs and is run by Cedar Point, not ACE. In fact Cedar Point's Coaster Mania was the first event for coaster enthusiasts that’s run by a park.[/color]

^I stayed in the Hotel Breakers two years ago and it is a very nice hotel that is why I pick it again. Btw on the day of the event how do you get the tickets and where do you sign up for the event when you get to the park. I'm going to arrive at the park on Friday 17th at about 12:00 pm.

If I remember correctly you have to go to the main entrance right before the event starts and get a button that you need to pin to your shirt.

Don't forget your ACE card or any coaster club card. Sorry i just assumed it was an ACE event since ACE sent me the flyer. This will also be the longest i have ever spent in a park. 5am- after midnight. man i'am going to be tired. Since i just realized how long i will be at the park i'm going to need a hotel to stay at. What is the cost per night Breakers?

You think your going to be tired after this trip? You should have been at Coaster Con, we stayed in Geauga and CP till about 12:30-1:00AM every day (six days straigt) and got up around 6:00AM every day.

Been every year for the past 3. Expect a great lunch. They have a big picnic for the members around 2. But if history repeats itself, be prepared for a no-show from TTD. CP is 2 for 2 now. 2002-wt, 2003-ttd. The ert on the coasters is fun and you can get way more rides than at coaster con.

I hope TTD is runing this year at Coaster Mania if it isn't runing I will be mad but you can allways ride MF.:)

I agree. Even though i don't like the ride that much and have only ridden twice i would be upset if it were to be down for CoasterMania. Not a Big loss, i'll have my all-time fav to ride if TTD is down.

I'll be there too. Ummmmmm..........how cold will it be around this time of year? What can I expect temperature wise?

I like cold weather but I hope it's not to cold because if it's 45 on the ground it will be about 30 on TTD. lol

I got my ACE membership online and I am cleared to go as a ACE member at coastermania. Whan can i expect, my first ever event, i have just been riding coasters for a few months now,lol. So I show up at 5 and get my ticket and stuff then on to dragster? Can't wait to meet some of you people there!!

I'm not really sure what to expect either. I just attended my first coaster event this month and it was alot of fun. More than i expected. The line up for CP looks very different then Carowinds so i'm just a curious as you to see what goes down. I do know about the Early Ride Time on TTD & The Evening Ride Time. Thats about it, not sure what to expect for the rest of the day. If you want I will be haveing breakfast with MagnumKelly that mourning so if you would like to join send me a PM.

They will have a special ticket booth open for us. At least thats what they did at Carowinds.

No you don't have to pay if you have a SP. I will have to pay though but they will just have us all meet out front i'm sure.

I don't have a season pass, I use my Geauga Lake ID to get in. Is that the same thing?

After a few request here is the days events just so everyone knows.

Meet at the park at 5am to register & collect badges and buy tickets if needed.

ERT on TTD from 6:30am-8:30am
ERT on Raptor & Wicked Twister 7:30am-9:30am
Free Lunch at the Point Pavilion from 2pm-3:30pm
ERT on Magnum 8:30pm-10:30pm
ERT on MF 9pm-11pm
