Summer recap

So what was the best coaster this summer? No wait I don't want to say best...how about what was the most unique coaster?

Mine would be Tomb Raider the ride. Sure it's not the best but it was unique  .

Summer Recap:

-Learning to love Hurricane: Category 5 at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion. :D
-Learning to hate the Swamp Fox, at the Family Kingdom in Myrtle Beach
-Watching all of the progress this winter of Borg construciton and finally getting to ride it. :flip:
-Riding Thunderhead, and knocking the Best to #2 spot. Thunderhead now sits on the thrown!

And that's all I can think of now. More later, if there is any more.

My highlight of the summer was riding the B&Ms at BGT and IOA for the first time in June. For the most part, they totally lived up to the hype.

The only parks I went to besides SFOG were all the Disney Parks. So I guess Rockin' Roller Coaster would be the only one.

My highlight was getting 7 coasters to my count this year, Finally riding a pneumatic launch coaster, riding my tallest Drop Tower, hearing about Hydar and SB, knowing I might get to ride it for opening.

Starting off the CP season with a front seat TTD rollback was probably the highlight---that and the person I was with.

The best new coaster I rode this summer was easily Phantom's Revenge. My first ride on it shot it ahead of Magnum as my third-favorite steel coaster.

I ended the season with 303 rides on Raptor, including 40 in a day. I impress myself sometimes.

This season was far better than last, and I rode five new coasters and visited a new park (Kennywood). I had a blast.

This summer's highlight for me was actually riding Big Dipper at Geauga Lake for the first time in years. This was my first adult coaster and I was totally unprepared for airtime back when I first rode it which made for an interesting first coaster experiance. Its one of my personal favorite Roller Coasters.

I'd have to say the highlight of my summer is actually getting in to coasters in the first place! And my best coaster of the summer is S:ROS at SFNE.
1st of all, because CLP and SFNE were the only parks I went to all summer, and 2nd, because it truly is one great ride!

The only park I went to was SFMM, but that's great right there. I got to ride Goliath, X, Deja Vu, and Riddler's Revenge, all favorite roller coasters, plus I got my first ride on Scream.

I went to Worlds of Fun and Frontier City for my first time. I really enjoyed Mamba (particularly, the second drop), one of the better rides I've experienced.

Just thought I'd add this note: Last year I was in Atlanta, Georgia during the summer and the highlight of the summer (of my lifetime coaster experience for that matter) was riding Superman - Utimate Flight and Deja Vu, two of the most extraordinary coaster experience for me so far.

Uh oh, I'm agreeing with C73-03 again. lol

Thunderhead gets my vote for the best new coaster I've been on this year.

Made it to #2 on my woody list by about the 2nd ride. lol 14 total rides over 2 trips up there this summer. :)
