Favorite SFGAdv Coaster

My favorites:
1. Kingda Ka
2. Nitro
3. Medusa
4. Batman & Robin: The Chiller
5. Batman The Ride
6. Superman: Ultimate Flight
7. Great American Scream Machine
8. Blackbeard's Lost Treasure Train
9. Rolling Thunder
10. Skull Mountain

(Yes, I have rode all of these at leats once)

Kingda Ka is great every time too, better in the day time in my opinion.

So... you bumped an old thread only to create a new one with a few more choices?

I guess I will go with Nitro though I really want to say The Chiller. (which, you do realize you named twice ;))

IMHO Great Adventure's selection has a few really good rides and then quite a few crappy ones.

ya, Kingda Ka is an amzing ride, how can people say TTD is better, Ka is a bigger, faster, all around better version, ITS GOT 2 HILLS, what's better...128 mph to 456 ft to 100+ ft at 130 mph, or 120 mph to 420 ft to brakes and the station? Hmm....

Its not 130 over the bunny hill. I would say 90, is reasonable. But people say that TTD has a quicker intial burst on the launch on than Ka. I find this a true state, after riding Ka 8 times, and watching TTD videos.

Yeah, all of the people at the commercial shoot could get an enormous amount of rides in. Oh how I wish I was there.

Me too...I've only got 5, I wish I had more, I can't imagine 36 back to back like rjholla got. Imagine that! lol. Wouldn't it get boring eventually though? I don't know, I can't say...I trhink I'd love it each time any way. I saw one guy who got 36 and didn't do the commercial, and he still gets nervous each time he said.

No way, I wouldn't say it would get boring. Just think of how much you want to go on again after each ride.

I've never been to the states, but after my recent encounters with less intense and ultinmatly slower launched coasters - i've gained a need for speed. It's been a while since i was scared of any coasters and the only ride i really am still weary about is Detonator. A launched drop tower. I think given the chance, 'Ka would easilly make my favourite coaster. I've got a feeling Stealth may just make it after it opens next year at Thorpe Park. But KK may even push Nemesis down to second place, because Rita nearly did - and rita isn't that intense (i think it's about 9th world wide? Ka being 3ed in intensity.) and only makes a top speed of 60mph. I've heard that also, for the park, Kingda Ka is quite well themed, regardless of the ilogical theme concept.
()and by the way, how does one drop to a new paragraph on this forum?)
