So what is a Theme Park Review "Affiliate Label" DVD?
Well, it all started with the introduction of the video contest last year. We found that there lots of talented coaster video makers that were looking for a way to get their work seen by as many people as possible.

Readers would send us their DVDs and ask us if we would distribute them and after figuring out a good way to do this, we are now offering a program to have their DVDs distributed by Theme Park Review!

Thanks again for all your support over the years and we're happy to help these talented videographers get their work out there!

Looks like fun... too bad I'm getting ready to move and I can't afford it. Though, if it's anything like the Coaster Expedition DVDs, it's gotta be good :).

Ok, so I got this DVD in the mail. Coasters hmmmm a great off season something for me to watch! I opened it up and was ready for just about anything! Don Garrison and Monica Jack travel around the country in this 3 disc set. The third disc was quite a bonus and was from 2004 and called Coasterthon.

I will start with the 2 discs from this year. Don and Monica live out in California so they started their journey out there. Over 40 parks were covered in two DVD’s! Darn they sure travel a lot! A lot of Northern and Southern California parks were also included. From Disneyland to The Puyallup Fair these “tools” had a blast.

Filming was absolutely amazing. I really wasn’t expecting much, honestly. But, I was BLOWN away. The on-ride footage was just as good as the off-ride segments. I personally feel that off-ride is just as good to catch a coaster doing what it does. The park footage was great. I don’t think anyone could have captured some of that footage, except Don. The funny signage, some crazy people, and even the non-coaster segments were so cool. The music was great too, a lot of things I even knew. And some were just funny. I know can’t get the “Fraggle Rock” theme song out of my head.

The “tools” met up with a few friends at parks, and some of the antics were absolutely funny. The Darth Vader mask was so funny I had to use my inhaler. Thanks Don! The cooking segments were interesting to say the least. I don’t think I will ever heat up food the way Don did. Camping out, setting fireworks off at god knows what hour, and having a blast is what Don and Monica do best.

These credit whores sure racked up a lot of kiddy credits even Elissa Alvey would be proud! I would love to travel with these guys, they seem like a lot of fun and get themselves into a situation that is even funnier then you can imagine.

Parks visited on this trip. I will name a few. SFMM, SFMW, SFGadv, Disney, SDC, Lake Compounce, Kennywood, The Dells Parks, PGA, Cypress Gardens, and almost everything in between.

The 2004 disc was a lot different. The music was really trippy, but in a great way. More hardcore rock music was used for this DVD. I was baffled by how many parks these guys did. But, I won’t give too much away since it is for an limited time only for buying this DVD set.

To check out these DVD’s go to www.themeparkreview.com for TPR forum members the set is 25 bucks. Non-forum members are 30 bucks. For the amount of parks on these DVD’s it is a great value. Check them out, will be a great thing to watch for the people that have an off-season!

Thanks to Don and Monica for a great laugh and the awesome footage they provided all of us coaster nuts! We really appreciate it. I know I do!
I personally loved the tape of the Jack Rabbit at Kennywood, it really shows how much air you really get on that double dip.
