RCCGB hat

so today i came into the possesion of a very nice baseball cap, blue with extensive red and white embroidery, portraying the rails of a wooden coaster in white, converging at the red button at the top, with "RCCGB" in red letters on the front. two sillouhetes (sp?) of wooden coasters whisch i believe compositely form an-out-and-back woodie. they're on either side, and around the back hole thingy is embroidered "The Roller Coaster Of Great Britain" with a small Union Jack. the words "Coaster Crazy" are embroidered on the foremeost part of te bill, like, between the top and bottom layers of it. if that makes sense. my father profferred it from a friend of his who recieved it as a demonstration of the large amounts of embroidery capable of being placed on hats. and no, i didn't leave a word out of "The Roller Coaster of Great Britain." it really doesnt say club.

pretty nifty, all told. free hat= good. coaster hat= better british hat= chick magnet.

i'm all set. any info on this "RCCGB" anyone can provide?

RCCGB stands for " Roller Coaster Club Of Great Britain" and they are basically like the costercrew.com . the arrange trips and events around the world for members and offer monthly magazine subscriptions and other vacations. its quite a good club. i met the chairman and he gave me good details about it but when i sent off the application form i never got a reply so im not a member.

Their official website is http://www.rccgb.co.uk.

The owner guy - Andy Hine was recently made an MBE for his services to Tourism and he likes wooden coasters a lot! He has a cememorative (sp?) train on the Grand National at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

the only other thing of importance about this coaster club is that they have some sort of Coaster handshake, like a secret handshake which says you are a member. Out of the 2 main clubs in Britain, RCCGB and the ECC I will be joining the ECC, seems to give much better trips.

Also, do the 'chics' like us Brits in Ohio, if so watch out Ohio, here I come!
