| Recognize this coaster?
I got this pic in an email and became intrigued as to where it might be located. Hopefully somebody out there can help me identify it. Thanks. |

I believe it's in Tokyo, Japan. I've seen that somewhere before.

That ride actually is supposed to be relatively smooth and have a good deal of positive G's.

Why do you suppose there aren't more of these? I can only think of Anaconda. Any others?

The one thing I never understood about Vanish is why there are horse-collar restraints on it. It doesn't even go upside-down or execute any outrageous maneuvers. It has a few hops, generic dives, and a double-decker helix...nothing that would really warrant the need for horse-collars...

The tunnel there is probably not even the joke the one on Anaconda is. That does sound lame it has horsecollars for what it only does.

A lot of nonlooping rides in Japan have OTSRS. all are non-looping rides with OTSRs... They can't get their heads straight (no pun intended).

Fujiyama has lapbars. You lose. Also you might want to mention Camel Coaster, it has OTSR's as well, along with a Schwarzkopf there too. Camel Coaster http://drkssk.fc2web.com/zekkyou/nasu/came/came01.jpg The Schwarzkopf http://drkssk.fc2web.com/zekkyou/nasu/light/light01.jpg Both have no loops. |

Perhaps they don't like giving riders the opportunity to put their arms up on some of these due to low clearances throughout the ride. This may not always be the case, but may justify some of them.

I thought it was photoshoped at first. It looks alright, but I bet the OTSR kill.
