I'd have to say Mean Streak at CP.

Of the ones I've been on, I'd have to say Rolling Thunder's Right Side. I didn't find Mean Streak or the Coney Island Cyclone that rough, but Rolling Thunder (as I've said many times before) has this turn halfway through the ride that almost slams you against the side. The rest of the ride isn't exactly smooth as silk either...so I would give that award to Rolling Thunder's Right Side.

I would have to say the villian is the roughest, with Mean Streak a very close second

I would have to say SOB, IF you sit in the front or the back of the CAR (the car are the separations in the train). If you sit in the front or the back of those, you have the wheels right under you and you can feel every bump all through the ride.

Raging Wolf Bob in Six Flags World of Adventure. I think there is something really wrong with the rolling stock, since it had so much yawing movements that's really painful.

The other rough woodie is Wildcat in Lake Compounce, which throws you side to side and bruises you.

I would have to say Mean Streak and Beast are tied. I have had REALLY REALLY smooth rides on both of these great coasters, but they can still be pretty rough. SOB would have had my vote, but the second season its really smoothe almost all the time.

Mean Streak was pretty rough. But I'd have to say the roughest was Psyclone @ SFMM. I hope the re-tracking and everything made it better because it hurt me!

Well, it never used to be too bad, but Hercules is painful now! The roughness does enchance the feeling of speed though....

I'd have to say Screaming Eagle at Six Flags St. Louis was the roughest woodie I've been on, but the best woodie was either Mean Streak or Gemini.
You'd think that CP was the only park with a rough woodie...
Psyclone at SFMM nearly broke my wife's neck. She and I got whiplash so bad we had to stop riding for the day.

Yea...I have to agree. Psyclone is pretty bad. It practically re-aligned my spinal cord.

American Eagle used to be painfully rough, but they fixed it, so my vote goes to Mean Squeek, err Streak

Been on them lately? I was just on Psyclone and Colossus a couple of weeks ago. Psyclone had just returned from a long rehab/retracking and well they must have added more jolts to the ride. Very very rough coaster. Colossus is fairing much better.

As for the roughest woodie I'd say it's the Rattler. Even with the PTC trains and the wonderful padding I still got a painful ride. I shudder to think what that ride was like with Morgan trains.

The Beast is the roughest woodie I've been on. I had bruises all over my side, and my ears stung like mad from smashing up against the side of the car after I rode it.
