I never got to ride it , but looking at the photos on rcdb it seems to be an incredible layout. Does anyone know of another coaster that has a similar design. If not B&M should try (if its not copyrighted). I really like the down, invert, down of the first hill.

It's also (correct me if I'm wrong) the only coaster to have the cutback element.

Why did they decide to take out that one corkscrew after the mid-course brakes when the ride was gonna close shortly after that? I mean it's been collecting SOOO much dust! They should just change the harnesses to be lap-bars instead of OTS restraints. That would make the ride more awesome!

Okay, I want to know why did they close Drachen Fire. It looks awesome, but it looks like a ride that beats your head up. Did they close because people were complaning about getting a headache.

i rode it, it had an incredible layout, but it did beat your head up. i personally didn't mind, but after enough complaints, they shut it down, and were going to reopen it this year, but the d@mn eagles nest is there, so they can't touch it. also, there trains are supposed to get lap bars, and should be running next year.

I didn't mind the headbanging either, but it was the worst right after the stupid batwing, that turn was waaayyyy too sharp. They should have put in an Arrow version of the dive loop to turn you around, that would have been sweet. It was a very cool and fun coaster though, and the first hill was very unique, but it really wasn't anything special to be honest with you, it just felt like any other corkscrew even though you dropped out of it. But Ron Toomer still had some awesome ideas in himself, its ashame he didn't get the opportunity to show us more!

drachen fire was a great ride. Last season i went to BGW and there was an attendent waiting by the closed off queue. when i asked her why it closed she said there just werent enough people that wanted to ride. (i guess because of the headbanging)

Well DF will probably not re-penunless they do some major re-tracking.
BTW no coasters have been copyrighted you might meant patented.
