I think Cedar Point needs a looping ride that goes backwards like an invertigo. Mostly every popular park(like SFMM) have a ride that does loops backwards. And I think CP should get an invertigo. Who else agrees?

If it's a regular Boomerang.. umm... no.

Regular boomerangs and Cedar Point don't match. They need super invertigos.

Exactly. One kind of roller coaster that Cedar Point lacks that most every other major (and even smaller) parks has is a roller coaster that runs in reverse at some point.

Why not just get (a smoothe and bigger) version of Joker's Revenge?

They have some terrible coasters. They need to get rid of them and put in good ones, like a floorless or a FD.

Just say "NO!" to anything remotely resembling one of these quasi-coasters. I can't imagine the lines given the ride capacity of this type of ride.

I think A boomerang is perfect because they don't take up much space and are fun. but it would be cool if they got a premir launcher like Mr. Freeze or Poltergiest. They need more coasters with inversions. they only have 3.

CP will never get a shuttle coaster just because of capacity. The lines would be four hours long for one of those things!

Somehow, I just don't see it happening. First of all, CP prides itself on having all full curciut coasters. Secondly, almost every ride that they make is a record breaker and unless Vekoma makes a giga-boomerang, I doubt CP will build it. Lastly, CP does not usually copy from other parks and there are so many Boomerangs and Boomerang spinoffs that it just wouldn't be CP's style.

I think they could use a backward one. It would be more exciting then the rest of the rides in the park.

Well I don't think CP likes roller coasters that aren't full circuits. I'm not sure if they count them as true coasters.

However, I think they could build a coaster that is continuous-circuit, but has the train going backwards. That would be going backwards, and they would count it as a coaster. I think that is more likely than a shuttle loop/boomerang.

I do think it would be cool if they did get one, though

CP has too many good coasters - adding a Vekoma boomerang would lower it's class. A Super Invertigo might be okay, but I'll tell you what CP should REALLY do. They should talk to B&M about building a gigacoaster that is similar to the type of coaster that is featured on Raging Bull and Apollo's Chariot. That would rule...

Simply No they will ruin the reputation of having better coasters!

Do you guys realize what this thread's about? It's all about pride and the fact tha you'll put one of the worst coasters on the face of the earth in a small space just so your home park can have the record for most coasters in a park. I live close to SFMM and don't give a damn that they have the most coasters in one park. I would rather have them put in flowers in a space then a vekoma standard boomerange. I understand the point of having a ride that goes backwards, but putting a boomerange in their park would show the extent of their need for "a title".
Very well said. A Vekoma boomerang!??! PLEASE! Those things should be outlawed. Waste of space, time, money, and steel if you ask me. CP would never consider building one of these heaps!

If they put in a boomerang i would blow lead an armed revolt, but i think that they would do good with a super invertigo.

naw, CP doesn't get clones, if they do get a forward/backward coaster it would be a premeir.

No, i think they shoud get a looping hyper, but with backwards trains, that could be a rcord breaker, im not sure hw high the highest backwards train coaster is.
They would have to have a foward one two so that people who dont wanna go backwards will still be able to ride. But yeah they need a backwards coaster but they also need a good upright looper (sorry the corkscrew doesn't cut it for me as a good looper). So why not a racing looper with 1 backwards coaster and a forwards coaster.

Why not make one Gemini go backwards? Its not looping, but hey, not every major park has backwards looping coasters.
