I wasn't quite sure what forum to post this in. At the Museum Center at Union Terminal, in Cincinnati, there is an IMAX theater that shows movies on a multi-story screen that completely surrounds you on the sides, front and over your head. It gives the illusion of actually being immersed in the action of the movie. I wonder.....is there any kind of ride out there that combines an IMAX theater with seats that actually move, like in the 7th Portal? If so, then I haven't heard of it and apologize for being so uninformed. But if there isn't, what do you think it would be like to tape a roolercoaster in IMAX format, and then combine the movie with seats that actually move in an IMAX theater? Sounds like a real puker to me

They've had rollercoaster movies in the past, but not 3-D and the seats didn't move. But they were still awesome.

An IMAX 3-D thrill ride movie with moving chairs, etc. provided will be really awesome! I mean it will never replace roller coasters, but it will still be pretty gut wrenching. One time, I saw this normal IMAX movie at Washington, D.C. about elephants, and my stomach started to drop 'cause there were a lot of scenes where you're flying over Africa like thousands of feet high and it seems like you're going to drop. That would be kewl if you did.

There was an Imax where you were King Kong and you fell off the Empire State Building! It was awesome! It really did feel like a freefall! And there was another scene where you were flying through an Asteroid field ala Empire Strikes Back (or is it Return of the Jedi?). That was awesome too.

I almost positive here in New Jersey, New York, we have the worlds biggest imax theater it is in the libertty science center. And i really think it would be cool to have it 3d ride just not a coaster nothing should replace a coaster. I really didn't like it though but mak it a thrill ride, that is alot better
