I think that the brake run on Riddlers Revenge right before the drop into the barrel roll is the worst.
But it is still my favorite ride

The Brake Run on American Eagle right before it goes into the helixes is the worst. Parks should let rides run the way they were designed.

The brake run on Montu at BGT is pretty bad. You exit the batwing and hop up onto the brakes, and get great airtime going up to it, then you barrel through there at about 40 mph. The brakes slow you down to like 7 mph!! It didn't used to have that brake on, but beacause of G-forces on the loop, they were forced to install it. I've never ridden it with out the brakes on!

Mean Streak. When I rode it when it was first opened, it was great. Then the trims brought it way down.

I think the brakes on the Beast kinda ruin it becuase you have only done a camel back and then you hit brakes.

I think Phantom's Revenge even though the brakes are at the end of the ride. It still spoils it because the train goes so fast that they cn only have a 1 train operation. But i have heard reports that the coaster had recieved magnetic braks for morgan manufacturing. Well i'm going to the park on Sunday for KennyKon(an ACE Event) and i will report back on these forums the out come and the betternes(is that a word, lol) of the new brakes so that they can run 2 trains and have shorter lines.

Mean Streak first hill used to give you a feeling in your stomach when you dropped. Now it's nothing , they should let the fans and customers decide on brakes on a coaster unless it's a serious life or death situation

Alpengeist. Not only does it give you some bad head-banging, but the end is soooo slow going into the last brakes.

There are many brake runs that ruin a coaster, but the Mean Streak takes the cake. When the ride first opened, it was a loud, raging firestorm. But now that the brakes are in, it just isn't nearly the same. The brakes on the Mantis need to go too.

The final brake run on the left side track of Collosus at Six Flags Magic Mountain takes the competition right out of the track.

THE BRAKES ON GOLIATH AT DFMMM SINCE THEY TIGHTENED THEM. I HATE THEM FOR DOING THAT. IT TAKES A LOT OUT OF THE HELIXES.

if any of u have ever been on the kiddie rollerscater coaster At IOA called the flying unicorn the final brakes are the funniest 2 watch the train enters at about 20 mph and makes the traind halt in about 1 second you see people get squished into the bar by the g forces it was hilarious and when i went on i was prepared.

The brakes on Wilde Maus, Loch Ness Monster, and Alpengeist. BGW is a great park, but they overbrake their rides.
true...that basically ruined it for me. It is one of the few B&M Loopers with a straight drop. Couldn't they put it somewhere else.....what the heck were they thinking!!

I agree with Mantis. If they were trying to reduce the intensity, they should have reduced the speed in the second half of the ride. That jumble of twisted and sharp turns provides one hell of an intense ride. The first half is not intense at all to me. It almost feels like the train is not going to make it up the vertical loop.

Mean Streak just felt like a 3 minute scenic tour through a leaf-less forest.

American Eagle is totally killed at the beginning of the double helix. If anybody had ridden this in the 80's, you would know that this coaster can fly!

The worst brakes on a coaster would have to be both Thunderhawk and Hercules at Dorney park. Those brakes simply kill what could be pretty good and wild rides.
