Does anyone else have a problem with the seat divider on wooden coasters? The Phoenix and Twister at Knoebles are great examples. The Racer at kennywood. Hercules at Dorney. I can't rememeber if Mean streak at CP has them or not. I think the divider takes a lot out of the ride.
Half of what makes the Thunderbolt (and even the Jack Rabbit) at Kennywood so great is the freedom to move around.
Take out the middle dividers and some great coasters will get even greater!

Seat Dividers are totally unnecessary on woodies, b/c I like being able to slide around and squish the other person.

I agree. They should go. A wooden coaster is supposed to throw you all over the place.

Well, I'm kinda glad they are there. If I'm sitting with someone I don't know I don't really want to be smashing into them, and they probably don't want me smashing into them either.
