It's all about personal preference. This thread is going to go on and on and on, with everyone arguing about why their coaster should be the best. There is no best coaster, just what people percieve to be the best in their own opinion. Most people have not been on all the coasters you mentioned, so they can't honestly judge which one is the best. But once again, it's all about personal preference.

I agree LukeDog, its all about preference and everyones bodys react differently, but for my money, favorite steel, no inversions is Millenium Force. Then SUperman Ride of Steel at my 6 Flags in Maryland, then I would also put Medusa in there for steel coaster with elements in 6 Flags New Jersey. Love that ride.

My personal favorite, since you reworded your question Coasterama, is MF. Is it the best? I wish I new.

i think that the best coaster is superman ride of steel at six flags new england. why you ask, because it doesn't rely on hight like MF does and gives a ride that seems more "paced" and the layout is better. i can garentee in 10 years SROS will be ranked on most peoples list above MF

What do you mean, Lukedog, by saying it is the best coaster? I have ridden it and really, the first drop is the best part of the ride--if you want a thriller the whole ride through, try Goliath, Titan, or Talon--action-packed every second.

It's about 5.400 feet long and 3 minutes and 20 seconds long already!

Stop yelling, people.

IMHO, the best coaster I've ridden is Goliath @ SFMM. It just doesn't let up for very long throughout the entire course. After the much-needed brakes, the thrills don't stop.

hmmm.... Notice most people are saying coasters in the parks closest to where they live are the best. Imagine that. You really can't judge until you've ridden the competition.
in st. louis--I think talon is as good as is that because I live 45 minutes away from Dorney Park?

i know everyone is talkin about these huge, fast, steel coasters....but you are forgettin about the classics....the beast might not be the biggest, but in my opinion it is definatley the best...goin so fast through those tunnels, feeling like you are gonna come right off the tracks!!! nothin can beat it!! )

Coasterama, let's be careful of the Caps Lock key. It makes your posts really hard to read. If the problem continues, we will have to delete your posts. Just a heads up.

Nitor you are acting retarted. B&M 4 across seating is not cool when you are in the middle of the train. and it is kinda stupid in the front oo. It is good cause it ups ride capacity but that is about it. nitro rules cause of air and it is not NITOR. lay off the pot man...

Well, I haven't ridden every coaster in the world, but my personal favorite has to be Nitro, front row-left seat!
Well if you had any common sense at all, you would realize that both "nitro" and "NITRO" were taken, so I just used "NITOR."

well you could have just added a number to it. Nitor is just making it sound like you don't know the name of it or your retarted or something. but your probably not.
One more thing. Type so some people can understand what your saying i can barely understand it myself

[ This Message was edited by: Medusa1861 on 2001-05-16 17:07 ]
